Had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Hotel in Karachi many times since first in 2002, I can confidently say it’s the best hotel in town. During my recent visit, I was impressed by the elegant decor and warm hospitality maintained since decades. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, offering personalized service that truly made me feel at home. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The hotel’s amenities are top-notch, including a well-equipped fitness center and several outstanding dining options. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, featuring a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes.

Everyone starting from the reception, bell boys, restaurants and security were very nice. The hotel has good food and the spa also very clean and services were very good. Had a minor issue with being given a smoking room. Smoking rooms should only be given to those who ask for it. Everyone else should default to non-smoking these days. However, that was fixed very quickly. I would go there again anytime.

The Mohatta Palace (Urdu: مہتا پیلس) is a museum located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Designed by Ahmed Hussain Agha, the palace was built in 1927 in the posh seaside locale of Clifton as the summer home of Shivratan Mohatta, a Hindu Marwari businessman from what is now the modern-day Indian state of Rajasthan. The palace was built in the tradition of stone palaces of Rajasthan, using pink Jodhpur stone in combination with the local yellow stone from nearby Gizri. PAF Museum Karachi is a beautiful park with a well-renovated museum situated near Karsaz Flyover on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. A majority of the aircraft, weapons, and radar are displayed outside in the park but the main museum features all major fighter aircraft that have been used by the Pakistan Air Force. The museum also houses the Vickers VC.1 Viking aircraft used by Quaid e Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan, and a Folland Gnat of the Indian Air Force, that landed in Pasrur town, Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani war of 1965.
