By tourist bus: • Several military culture-themed routes (such as the East Line Tour) include a stop at Mashan Broadcasting Station. ⸻ ✅Reasons to Visit • Mashan Broadcasting Station is the most iconic psychological warfare site in Kinmen, located just about 2 kilometers from mainland China! • During the Cold War, powerful loudspeakers broadcast "Free China" radio programs to Xiamen, conveying political messages and popular music. • Equipped with observation telescopes and a sea-view platform, visitors can clearly see Xiamen's cityscape and skyscrapers across the strait. • The indoor area features historical photos, propaganda materials, and a simulated broadcasting experience, making it an excellent place to learn about Kinmen's wartime history. • The solemn and tranquil atmosphere, combined with historical significance, makes it ideal for military enthusiasts and deep travelers.

When I came to Kinmen, I visited a pretty good ancient settlement, which is the Shanhou Folk Culture Village in Jinsha Town! It is said that it was built in the 26th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1900 AD). It was built by the father and son Wang Jingxiang and Wang Jingxiang, who were overseas Chinese in Japan and were successful in business. There are 18 buildings in total, including 1 school building and 1 Wang family ancestral hall, collectively known as the "Eighteen Rooms". All 18 ancient houses are located near the mountains and the sea, in an orderly and classical layout, and are well-preserved. The settlements are full of their own traces of time, and every corner of Kinmen is full of nostalgic old stories, presenting an exquisite and complete architectural style of southern Fujian. This is also the best-preserved ancient settlement in Kinmen. Visiting the Shanhou Folk Culture Village, the neatly arranged ancient houses also give people a retro and nostalgic feeling.
