Anticipating an earlier Spring because of global warming, I booked our trip for the last week of March. As we got closer to our departure date though, it became clear to me that we were two weeks too early. True enough, there were little more than red bulbs on the trees when we were there. But luckily for us, there was also Jinhae. About a four-and-a-half hour bus ride south of Seoul, Jinhae is a sleepy naval town that’s home to the biggest cherry blossom festival in South Korea. It’s warmer there so their festival starts earlier, around the first week of April. This year, it was from March 24-30. We weren’t going back to Busan until the 28st of March, so we thought what better way to spend our last full day in South Korea, than to be surrounded by a sea of pink and white in Jinhae? #MyTripVlog #spring #korea #jinhae

If you have the luxury to travel out of Seoul during spring. Please visit here for the best and most beautiful cherry blossom. In The next two weeks time flower will be blooming. While Cherry blossoms absolutely cover the small city of Jinhae, there are three spots in particular that will leave you with your jaw on the ground. Feel free to wander the streets, but always try to be walking towards one of these spots. They are all quite a ways from each other, and taxis in this area are quite hard to come by, so be prepared for lots of walking if you plan on hitting all of them! There is also a 'Yeojwacheon Romance Bridge' nearby. I recommend you to visit together.There are tons of cafes, souvenir shops and street food lining this little trickle of a stream, and it is, without a doubt, the best place to see the cherry blossoms in Jinhae. You should definitely start your cherry blossom tour here, as it will eventually lead you to another amazing spot to see the cherry blossoms. I recommend taking the monorail up to Jehwangsan and walking down on your way back. You can enter without an admission fee and take the elevator up to the 8th floor. As soon as you step out of the elevator, you'll be greeted with cheers. The first view of Jinhae from above is truly moving. During the cherry blossom season, the view of Jinhae, a city covered in cherry blossoms, is even more beautiful from Jinhae Tower. Make sure to visit during the cherry blossom season; it's really beautiful and perfect for taking lots of photos ❤️

Was intending to visit Jinhae to check out the lovely blossoms, and instead of taking a tour, we are so glad we did it OTOT. It was super easy taking a bus from the Busan bus terminal and was an hour journey to Jinhae. We roamed around the town a little, went to the famous stream and walked up the Owl staircase to a higher platform for a bird's eye view of the small town. Had puffer fish soup somewhere near the starting point of the stream. In the end we were a but tired to travel to the other photo spot of the train station. All in all, it was a very nice relaxing trip to catch blossoms (though it wasnt at the full blossom time). #cherryblossom

This year in 2024, the cherry blossoms in South Korea will bloom about 7 days later than they have in the past 31 years. It happened to be the Tomb Sweeping Day holiday and I went to the Jiumhae Gyeonghwa Railway Station and Yusakawa River in South Korea to encounter the cherry blossoms in full bloom🌸. There is a slight uphill road, so I recommend using your own car or taxi rather than walking.
