At that time, the water facilities were still under construction so that parents from Hualien and other counties and cities in Taiwan could bring their babies to Zhikaxuan to spend a happy summer vacation in early July. Zhikaxuan may also be the only free water park in Taiwan. It includes a children's pool, wave pool, paddling pool, ground fountain, water column SPA, water slide, swimming pool and many other facilities. Although the water park's water play facilities are only open during the two months of summer vacation, they often attract many tourists to come and play in the water, filling the entire pool with people. Afterwards, I promised the kids that I would bring them to Hualien to play in the water again in August. During this three-day trip to Hualien, I took the kids to Zhikaxuan to play in the water for two days. Although "Bear Crane" is free, they can charge a cleaning fee of 50 to 100 yuan.
