There's also a parking lot and a building. The cathedral's soaring ceilings give it a majestic appearance. If you're a Catholic, a visit is a must-see when visiting Jeju Island! It's located near Chilsung-ro, and there are many delicious restaurants and shops nearby. It's worth a visit before your trip.

#9月好地方2025 Address: 2444-2 Ora 1(il)-dong, Jeju-si, Jeju-do Dadam다담 is a home-style restaurant featuring all-female chefs. It's located in a large garden house behind the long-distance bus terminal. There's ample parking, and many locals frequent it. There's a cat to greet guests. The set lunch, the most expensive at 19,000 won, is quite good. It's much better than the overpriced porridge with minimal abalone. The dishes aren't spicy and are very satisfying. The side dishes are also generous, making them impossible to finish. The beef patties and lotus leaf rice were both delicious. Deserves 10 stars. There's no MSG flavor; just salt, soy sauce, chili powder, vinegar, chili paste, and soybean paste. It's a healthy restaurant. You don't need to order side dishes; they'll bring them right up to you, and you'll get three refills.

Jeju Island is the best place to take a break from everything and meet interesting people. You can see and do a lot in 7 days of travel. Most of the entertainment is very cheap, but getting to some locations can be difficult. Waiting for buses can take up to 30 minutes, and the journey to the location can take up to 1.5 hours. It is best to check in advance until what time certain establishments work and organize your route wisely. But in order not to wait for buses and reduce travel time, it is better to order a taxi in the kakao T application. It will also not be too expensive, and the saved time can be spent exploring new locations. You don’t have to worry about the application and payment, since you don’t need to have a Korean phone number to register, and in the payment column you can indicate “cash to the driver”. So, about some differences. For those who have not gone karting, Jeju has a huge territory for this and a beautiful view of nature to boot. For one person 10 km (several laps) I paid 40,000 won (~2400 rubles). You can choose less, since 10 km is quite a long time, at some point I got tired of driving. The view from the karting is incredible. There are also many interesting activities on the territory, in addition to karting. For those who have not traveled in a submarine - this is also a great opportunity to do so in Jeju. For one person, the ticket was 53,000 won (~3000 rubles) taking into account the coupon. If you want a discount, then take a brochure at the hotel, they are like advertisements in a prominent place. The journey takes 1-1.5 hours and as a bonus they will take a photo for you as a souvenir and print it out. And on the way back to the shore, they will take you for a ride with the wind on another boat on the top floor. My special recommendation is the botanical garden in Hallim Park. One hour is definitely not enough to see everything. A huge number of different trees and plants. For the first time I saw figs, bananas, pitahaya, kiwi, persimmon and many other things growing in real life. In addition to plants, there are also animals that can freely walk around the park. There is also a beautiful location with a Korean village. In Donnaeko resort, you can immerse yourself in nature to the fullest. In one part, there is a shallow stream with stones and an incredible view. The trees block the sky, but the sun's rays pass through the branches, and a fog appears above the stream. It seems like these are hot springs, but the water is icy, and the view is beautiful. In another part, you can take a vest for free and swim. The path takes a little longer, since you need to go down the stairs. In another part of the island, you can visit Seongsan Ilchulbong ("Sunrise Peak"). #SignUpSeptemberHotelTester2025 Compared to the ocean view rooms at Hamdeok Beach, I don't think it's necessary to stay in this hotel. The standard twin rooms offer excellent value. The front desk speaks Chinese, and a 50,000 Korean won deposit or credit card is required. The hotel is very clean, with good soundproofing, and most importantly, a great location. Chilsung Street is a five-minute walk away, and a stroll along the seaside square after dinner is a pleasant experience. Nearby Restaurants and Shopping A CU and 7-Eleven convenience stores are about 200 meters away, making shopping very convenient. There's also a BHC fried chicken shop nearby (not recommended). Chilsung Street, Dongmun Market, and Black Pork Street are all within walking distance. Hotel Location It's a 20-minute bus ride from Jeju Airport, or about 3-4 kilometers by taxi. Both buses and taxis are very convenient, making it easy to get to various attractions. One day, we signed up for a day trip to Udo Island, and the hotel provided pick-up and drop-off. (The two women on our day trip stayed near Hamdeok, so pick-up wasn't provided and we had to take a taxi to meet up at our hotel in the city.) Therefore, staying in a city hotel is more convenient.

The props inside are all usable, including the piano. Just be careful not to lie on the bed or step on it with your shoes off. Also, be careful not to kowtow when entering the caves. There are safety helmets nearby, so if you're afraid of kowtow, bring them. The check-in experience was fantastic because the air in the mountains is so fresh and the scenery is stunning. The fish is so crispy you can chew it, and the kelp soup is filled with fresh kelp leaves and is slightly spicy. Plus, the prices are so good, it's quite impressive for Jeju Island. They only have four options: seaweed soup, sea urchin and kelp soup, grilled fish, and what seems to be a tofu soup. I highly recommend ordering the seaweed soup (몸구), it's incredibly delicious. One minor drawback is that there's a wait during peak hours, so get there early. For those traveling on foot, taxis are readily available, making it easily accessible. Upon arrival at the entrance, you'll first encounter a small pond called 'Saeng-i Mot.' This pond, historically used as a water source, also served as a refuge during the Jeju 4.3 Incident, adding historical significance to its charm. ⛰️ The initial trail is shaded by trees, offering a cool and pleasant walk. We reached the ridge at the summit in about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace! Along the way, the breezy scenery and expansive views of the western landscape made the climb feel effortless.

Jeju Island is home to countless oreums (volcanic cones), but among them, Darangshi Oreum, known as the 'Queen of Oreums,' is a must-visit spot! (Originally, I planned to visit Yongnuni Oreum, but it was closed for its resting period, so I came here instead 😊) The wooden stairs at the entrance can be a bit challenging, but once you get past the initial section, the zigzag trail makes the climb relatively easy. The crater is 115m deep and, when viewed from above, it somewhat resembles a heart shape 💚.
