Bar Palladio, Jaipur
#wheretogo My recent visit to Bar Palladio in Jaipur was nothing short of amazing! Let's start with the ambiance, which is truly enchanting. The entire place is designed with Italian-inspired decor that transports you to another world. It's cozy and alluring, with a vibe that's reminiscent of Dolce & Gabbana and Versace. The loud prints and intricate design details add to the overall charm. The ambience alone makes it a must-visit destination.
But it doesn't stop there; it gets even better! The cocktail I ordered, a cosmo, was not only pleasing to my palate but also visually stunning. The food served at Bar Palladio is a burst of flavors. I tried the risotto, and it was nothing short of amazing.
The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a delightful variety of options to choose from. All in all, my evening at Bar Palladio was truly unforgettable. The outstanding service from the staff, combined with the charming ambiance, created an experience that I will cherish.
I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Bar Palladio if you ever find yourself in Jaipur. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It's a perfect blend of style, taste, and service that makes for a memorable and enjoyable evening.

Padharo Mahare Desh
We went to Jaipur (Pink city and capital of Rajasthan, India). The climate was pleasant. Min temp 16C. 3 nights stay in the city is enough to enjoy the place. We stayed at one of the palace hotel, Jai Mahal which is managed by Taj.
Ideal time for visit - December month ( Also enjoy Jaipur Marriages)
Place of Interest (My recommendations)
Day 1 - You will arrive by 1.00 PM so head to Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Birla Temple. Do some shopping and Jauhari Bazar and Baapu Bazar.
Day 2 - Head to Rambaug Palace and have your lunch there. In the evening go to Chokhi Dhani.
Day 3 - Visit Amber Fort, Jai Fort, Jantar Mantar and City Palace
Day4 - Now its time to move on. Don't forget to buy Jaipur sweets. The famous are Narayan for Gajak, LMB for Ghevar, Rawat for Kachori and Kanha for Kalakand.
Don't go to places recommended by the taxi or city tour operators. The above places will give you the most and best coverage of the city and will not make your travel hectic.
the pink city
well crowded but the building is well maintained. not many facilities around to rest so rest well before going!
📍 RAJASTHANI ROYAL ARCHITECTURE
The Patrika Gate in Jaipur is a famous monument and tourist attraction in the capital city of Rajasthan. Located 30-minutes outside of the city centre, the gate serves as an entrance to Jawahar Circle Garden. And many believe it to be one of the most photographed spots in all of India.
While the gate is just one of the many architectural wonders in Jaipur, the opulent design is genuinely awe-inspiring. And the vibrant and intricate walkways serve as a true reflection of Rajasthani culture. #spooktaculartrip

The Wonders of Jal Mahal, Jaipur
Jal Mahal "Water Palace" is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The palace was originally constructed in 1699; the building and the lake around it were later renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.
This palace is a great example of the Rajput style of architecture and owing to its location, it is also a great place for phenomenal views. You get a great view of the lake from the palace; you get a great view of the palace from the Nahargarh (“tiger-abode”) hills and the Man Sagar Dam.

📍HAWA MAHAL Jaipur
No visit is complete in Jaipur unless you visit the beautiful Hawa Mahal, The wind Palace.
This palace is a five-story pyramidal shaped monument that rises to about 50 feet (15 m). The top three floors of the structure have the width of a single room, while the first and second floors have patios in front of them. The front elevation, as seen from the street, is like a honeycomb with small portholes. Each porthole has miniature windows and carved sandstone grills, finials and domes. It gives the appearance of a mass of semi-octagonal bays, giving the monument its unique façade. The inner face on the back side of the building consists of chambers built with pillars and corridors with minimal ornamentation, and reach up to the top floor. The interior of the palace has been described as "having rooms of different coloured marbles, relieved by inlaid panels or gilding; while fountains adorn the centre of the courtyard". #tripblazers #spooktaculartrip #incredibleindia
📍 Albert Hall Museum Jaipur ❤️
The Albert Hall Museum is functioning as the State Museum of Rajasthan. The Hall was built by Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II. The foundation stone of Albert Hall was laid during the visit of the Prince of Wales, Albert Edward to Jaipur in 1876 and it was completed in 1887. The building was designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob and was opened as a public museum in 1887. It is also called the Government Central Museum. Maharaja Ram Singh initially wanted this building to be a town hall, but his successor, Madho Singh II, decided it should be a museum for the art of Jaipur.
It is a fine example of Indo-European architecture. The design of the museum is quite similar to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Amer Fort 📍The Royal Historical Fortress
The second most visited site in India after Taj Mahal, "Amer Fort" was added to the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites in 2013.
This historical monument speak the splendor and the grandeur of the ancient times. The ambience and aura of these sites carry a touch of Royalty of the Mughals and the Rajputs.
The fortress cum palace was originally made from red and white sandstone way back in the 1550s. This magnificent fort stands on a hillock overlooking the capital city of Rajasthan – Jaipur.
📍After the Great Wall of China & the famous Kumbhalgarh, the Amber Fort is the 3rd Largest Wall in the World.#CelebrateWithTrip #tripblazers #staycation

Exciting train ride from Jaipur to Delhi
a trip to India is not complete if u didn't try the train ride. we were excited because it will be our first experience traveling in India by railway. The journey from Jaipur to New Delhi took us around 4 hours and 30 minutes. we paid around RM 90 for the Executive Car Chair by North Western Railway. The coach is Air conditioned and had comfortable room leg
The train station was jam packed with people and bags. we packed light and departed the morning ride. The scenery along the journey was breathtaking where we witnessed few landmarks until we reached New Delhi.
Although it was not the luxury coach or double decker train, we had fun during the journey and I insist that you should experience this as well

'Mahal' view at Hawa Mahal
Totally in awe with the rear of Palace of Wind or #hawamahal. This 5 storey pink sandstone palace was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Reason being: to allow the royal women a view of everyday life including festivals and celebrations through the windows, as they never appeared in public (without face covering: purdah) #theguidetoldus
Trivia: How many windows are there? A: 953 windows (Jharokhas) in total 😂 but i was busy wondering it must have been a tiring task to wipe all the windows. hehe
anyway, we really love thr building that we came again at night to have another shot. l. The cooling effect in the chambers, are through the breeze passing by the small windows and enhanced by the fountains provided at the centre of each of the chambers

fascination over the Amber Palace
this palace and fort is sooo enormous that it covers 4 square kilometres area. The Palace is divided into six separate but main sections each with its own entry gate and courtyard.
this is where i share more sections of the complex. it haa four courtyards with prominent avenues in each courtyards. this place is so nice that it has always benn a favourite shooting spot for Bollywood movie and film.
we have limited time therefore we didnt manage to cover all parts. plus across the amer fort, stands another beautiful port ( Jaighar Fort) sharing the same lake Maota Lake.
so i would suggest that you spend more hours here because every spot is worth capturing

Mesmerising Details at Amber Fort
One of the gates in #amerfort called #ganeshpole or #ganeshgate. I fell for the meticulous artworks of this entrance. Notice the small window? It is known as Suhag Mandir where ladies of the royals used to watch functions held in the Diwan-i-Am through the latticed windows #theguidetoldus
anyway, apart from pale yellow & pink sandstone, the magnificent #amerfort #amberfort is also made up of glowing white marble. from the turkish bath, the diwan, the chamber and everything in between.
as you look up to the ceiling, to your right, left and beneath your feet, every detailing was just mesmerising and we had so much fun appreciating the beauty of this place

Meticulous Architecture of Amer Fort
I must say the 11 kilometre trip from Jaipur to Amer, Rajashtan was worth it. it was a gigantic fort with so many gates and has a lot of Rajput and Mughal architecture.
Its location on a high hill makes it more majestic in the eyes of the visitors. Usully people will opt for an elephant ride to the Ganesh Gate. or some will be on foot up to the hilly place. The fort is big enough that it will take you at least two to three hours to explore it in detail. As for us, it took more because every corner is worth a snap. heheh
When you are up on the fort, you will see the beautiful Maota Lake, which is the main source of water for the Amer Palace. The view was so breathless.
It cost us around INR 550 for the entrance fee and it is open from 8.00am to 5.30pm. go check out the place

the gigantic Amer Fort
Meet Syabu, my fav animal
The Amer Fort elephant ride costs Rs1,000 for 2 people and it takes approximately 20-30mins up the fort. There are approximately 80 elephants, which carry up to 900 visitors per day (Jaipur Travel Guide, 2015)
Elephant congestion is a common view at the #amerfort whereby around 80 elephants transport 900 visitors everyday through the Sun Gate. Although the ride is undeniably a popular tourist attraction, it remains controversial among the animal activists. Prepare to be hassled by the hawkers & "professional photographer", they gonna haunt until u buy their goods & pictures. Our mahout was grumpy & asked for more tips than advised (We think this is very common & nearly experienced it everywhere.most of the time we don't think they deserve a tip because they are very unfriendly people.. pftt)

Masala translates to spice and chowk in Hindi means an open area or public square. The wordplay perfectly sums up the meaning of the place – a variety of booths serving authentic Indian street food. Jal Mahal on water
#jalmahal "Water Palace" is a palace located in the middle of the #mansagarlake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan. Though the palace only appears to be a single storey, there are four further submerged levels with depth of 15 feet. Most importantly, it is only 3 min walk from our Regenta Hotel.
The palace was originally constructed in 1699; the building and the lake around it were later renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.
The Jal Mahal palace is an architectural showcase of the Rajput style of architecture (common in Rajasthan) on a grand scale. The building has a picturesque view of Man Sagar Lake, but owing to its seclusion from land is equally the focus of a viewpoint from the Man Sagar Dam on the eastern side of the lake in front of the backdrop of the surrounding Nahargarh ("tiger-abode") hills
must visit jaipur. It is an amazing place to spend holidays with your beloved family and friends. Must watch places are Hawamahal, Amer fort, Jantar Mantar, City palace & of course the stunning Birla temple.
