Insadong is famous for their dessert, there are so many nice cafes here and this caught our eyes! Look at it, have you seen cakes on a conveyor belt instead of sushi? This is my first time experiencing it as well!! The entrance of the cafe is a railway track 🛤 theme, there are lot of nice greenery which makes this place look extra nice and cozy! I ordered a earl grey chocolate cake which was really tasty and special, love the hint of the earl grey taste on top of the chocolate cake. What I like the most is the maple cream coffee, it’s so unique and nice as well. Not too sweet :) They offer a lot of interesting flavour cakes and coffee, would recommend this place!

#Cafe I heard that you can drink coffee while looking at the Hwigyeomjae, a hanok built in the late Joseon Dynasty. It was a nice place to stay because the modern and classic spaces blended well. The coffee was delicious and the Hwinansi was really delicious. Low Roof located in Bukchon Hanok Village Since it is a tall building, there are many seats, and the Hanok next to it is a cafe building, so you can choose to sit here and there depending on the atmosphere, which is nice They sell traditional drinks and desserts such as dried persimmon yogurt, sujeong and milk tea, so you can try different menus! #korea #seoul #insadong Went on korea trip recently and one of the itinerary is visiting insadong and gyeongbokgung palace. This two can be packed into 1 day. Insadong is a really nice cultural place where there are many interesting shops to see especially one with 4 floors, spiral upwards building where there are many local handmade craft stores to find really cute and interesting stuff. Item were also interesting and price were reasonable. Insadong around also has some really nice cafe where we can have super delicious salt bread for those bread lovers out there! Blue elephant was also there with really affordable sunglasses to choose from. Overall a really chill and nice place to visit for extremely good cafe!

Even got to have tea with monks and make friends with locals and travelers like myself. Food shopping and souvenirs were abundant in the area. for a more pop culture vibe, head over to Jongno 3 Metro station, and explore the alleys of old hanoks converted into cafes and shops that are constantly featured on social media (predominantly instagram). it's also close to meoyondong, and other popular area. We happened to come across this place when we were at Insadong looking for a toilet, it’s like an open area mall with a lot of small interesting shops here! There are many level in total ( I think is 8 if I remember correctly). Must go to the top of this place to enjoy a nice view from this place, it’s so breathtaking! There’s also a famous poop 💩 cafe at the top where they actually serve your chocolate ice cream in a mini “toilet bowl” and it’s in poop form 😂 sorry I’m not so adventurous to try that, but pls go ahead if it interest you! I love all the small shops here, all of them are quite different and very interesting. Feels less boring to look at different varieties of stuff rather than just cloths or accessories. I also love the open air concept here, you won’t feel trapped in a mall and is nice to be able to feel the fresh air :) I wound recommend this place!

This is hands down the best dumplings or mandu 🥟 in Korea I ever had! This place is call Bukchon Son mandu at Bukchon. Their dumplings here are gigantic!! We ordered a mixture of all dumplings here, my fav is the fried dumpling because it’s so crispy from the outside and juicy inside. They are very generous with their meat/ ingredients, feel so filling after having a plate of this. The steamed ones are quite nice also, taste abit like Xiao Long bao. There are many sauces/ dipping for you to choose. I personally think that is best to eat with the soya sauce with a bit of vinegar. They actually sell noodles here as well, but we have not tried because we were too full already 😅 There are free side dish like kimchi and radish as well. Prices here are really reasonable, will recommend this place!

They also serve pojang, so it should be convenient for people staying in hotels around here 🥳 ⁡ Plus, they have a wide variety of kimbap flavors 😂 lol I don't speak Japanese, so I'll start with what I know (lol), ⁡ I ordered #참치김밥 ( #tunakimbap ) and #spicyramen! If you can't finish it, just order some kimbap pojang 🥹🤍 ⁡ And even if you order two, it's only 8000 lol! That's nice... If you order spicy ramen at a restaurant in Japan, it's 600-800 yen, and kimbap is 500 yen or more...
