London | Must try cosy noodle bar in Chiswick
Last time, I met a friend in Chiswick and we went to a hidden gem noodle shop – So Noodle.
The shop has a very fresh and cozy decor, creating a warm atmosphere.
The Baman Mixed Noodles were absolutely delicious! The noodles weren’t too soft, and they were paired with kelp knots, tofu, beef, and a hint of spicy fragrance – very tasty!
The Pork Rib Soup Noodles had perfectly cooked ribs, and the vegetables were cleaned thoroughly. The hot soup was so comforting and tasty!
The Lotus Root Sandwich was huge! When you bite into it, the meat and lotus root were very firm – it’s so hearty that one person can be totally satisfied with it!
The Salt and Crispy Chicken wasn’t served in small pieces, but it was also delicious. The sauce was tangy and sweet, very flavorful!
The Fried Tofu had a crispy outer layer with soft, glutinous inside. It’s like the non-smelly version of stinky tofu, giving it a more refreshing taste!
Average cost: £30 (if you don’t order side dishes, it’s about £20).

City Plane Watching!
Location: Hounslow area (on Bath Road) near Heathrow Airport.
City: London, United Kingdom.
Photographing planes with houses and shops in the foreground is a unique experience. You can enjoy this experience in the west end area of London. Situated ten minutes from Heathrow airport, you can visit the Hounslow area. This area is conveniently located with many good hotels nearby such as the Doubletree by Hilton (Heathrow).
On Bath road, you can be treated to sights of planes taking off and landing. It is a magical experience to be directly underneath these massive international planes.

To share t
To share the memories of a journey, this time to explore this different Britain in my eyes. To say that, this flight experience is also an indispensable gentle memory on the journey ~
from London At the airport lounge of Silo Airport, I was eating and sleeping all the way. Hahaha even turned off the plane. When I quietly retouched the map, I had a flight attendant who handed me a popsicle. Hahaha~
voyage day When accompanied by the moon, when I returned to Beijing, I happened to meet the most beautiful sunset. With the lights of the city, I feel very lucky. I am probably the happiest person in the world... Hahaha
PS: The plane back to Beijing, sitting next to Yang Kun... I am very embarrassed to say a word, but silent and Yang Kun finished watching the whole sunset, after all, I dare not look at him!
I feel like a joke... After writing this Weibo, I want to clear this memory about Yang Kun...
PPS: When I first boarded the plane, I was in a hurry. I am overwhelmed by my text my friends for help... I want to ask how to get rid of it... Then they let me sing a piece of "Indifferent" on the plane to see if Yang Kun will turn for me... I feel that my life is a joke...
The Bell & Crown
The Bell & Crown is located on the banks of the Thames in Chiswick West London. The nearest station is Kew Bridge, I got the train to Gunnersbury which has better connections.
This riverside pub, licensed as the Bell & Crown by 1787, was acquired by Fuller, Smith & Turner in 1814 and rebuilt in 1907. The pub expanded into two adjoining shops in the 1980s, with the large conservatory extension added in 1984.
There are two ways to enter the pub, you can either enter on the main Thames Road entrance or the Strand on the Green entrance by the river. Once inside, you’ll find a traditional one bar pub with a cosy atmospheric feel. The pub is divided into three sections, there is a good size main bar area which has a long servery, a bright and airy conservatory and a terrace overlooking the Thames. Along the path by the river are plenty of benches and chairs to watch the world go by.
This Fullers pub has a good selection of familiar well known beers which included three cask ales. I decided on a pint of Amstel, my pint was excellent, price point was just above average. There is a classic pub grub menu available, Fish & Chips costs £19.50, roasts are available on a Sunday.

Chiswick, London – November 2024
Sunday morning strolls in Chiswick are always a treat, though today I’ve miss timed the street market, according to @thechiswickcalendar, the first Sunday of the month is Flowers, the second is Antiques & Vintage, and the third is all about Cheese. Definitely worth timing a visit!
When it comes to coffee in this area, our go-to spot is @tampcoffeeuk. This modern-rustic gem, tucked just off the High Street, serves up exceptional espresso drinks and pastries, including their famed empanadas. They’re serious about coffee too, sourcing, importing, and roasting their beans in-house.

A light misty drizzle settled over Strand on the Green, adding to the charm of this picturesque stretch along the Thames in Chiswick. Rich with history, this area has inspired artists like J.M.W. From sourcing beans to perfecting each roast, he’s crafted a business that’s truly personal, blending skill and artistry into every cup. Myrtle Avenue: planespotting at Heathrow Airport
This week, while I was at London Heathrow Airport, I went to a field at the end of a road nearby called Myrtle Avenue. I did not drive here but saw plenty of parking spaces available and there was lots of space on the field. I saw a lot of planes from all across the world, and even a jumbo jet (Airbus A380) from Singapore! It was very fun and I strongly recommend for you to get a picnic and spend an hour or so here when you're at Heathrow. Just get on the Piccadilly line from Terminal 2/3 or Terminal 4 station and get off at Hatton Cross station, just a couple stops up the line. You can then use Google maps to find it but it's just a five minute walk down the road.
