Once inside, you'll find meticulously decorated rooms, including the guest rooms, the presidential office, the banquet hall, and even secret rooms/basements/bunkers used during the war. This is where the heart flutters. Walking through the hallways, you'll find maps, photographs, and antique items telling stories from decades past. Tablecloths, wooden furniture, picture frames, old radios, and antique telephones—everything looks like something out of a historical movie. Outside, there's a spacious garden in front of the palace, a large, curved lawn, a semicircular pond, and a balcony on the upper floor offering a panoramic view of the city. If you visit in the morning or late afternoon, the natural light is excellent, making for beautiful photos. There's even a view of a model tank at the entrance, a historical reminder of the end of the Vietnam War. Overall Atmosphere: Peaceful but not too quiet. This branch has multiple floors, and in the center, they make pizzas right in front of you. 🙋🏻No one knows about this famous homemade pizza chain with many branches in Vietnam. We didn't make a reservation on the day we went because it was a weekday lunchtime, but it was already quite crowded. The atmosphere is great, and every corner is beautiful for taking photos. The shop also provides free pizza dough. 🎀 How to order: Order via the QR code on the table. Once you've placed your order, the staff will come to your table to verify your order. When paying, you can just ask the staff. You don't have to pay online when you order. ✨ Our favorite dish: Spaghetti with Crab 🦀 254,000 (I recommend adding chili oil to the table for a much better taste). 🍕 For the pizza, we ordered the Half Pizza, 4 Cheese, 124,000 (with 4 different cheeses, it's delicious, salty, and creamy. The highlight is the central hall where you can see how the pizzas are made and baked fresh. There's also seating upstairs. The second floor has plenty of tables, providing privacy and a comfortable atmosphere. The staff provided excellent service, advising us every step of the way, from ordering via a QR code at the table. Once you've placed your order, the staff will come back to your table to repeat your order. When the food arrived, they helped cut it into portions, refilled water, and asked if we wanted anything else. Service score: 5/5. For the pizza, we ordered the half pizza, which had 4 cheeses and burrata and Parma ham. This was a great point, as the portions were quite large and the variety of toppings allowed for a variety of choices. We also ordered the crab spaghetti, which was delicious. Can try Vietnamese cuisine here! 📍 Ca Phe Lihn (Tiem Ca Phe Linh) - must try their salted coffee! Smooth with a pinch of saltiness 🚨best pit spot from Shopping in Ben Thanh Street 📍Banh Mi Huynh Hoa - only accept cash and qr. you can order pick up from Gxab! This is a must try too! They have a space for customer to eat. 📍Cong Coffee - Opposite of Pink Church #tandinhchurch order coconut ice blended coffee and enjoy the great view 📍Crab Noodle Baba - a very good portion with three big 🦐 ! One of the best breakfast I had 📍Quan Ngon Bun Cha - not really fancy it, but has good rating 📍Pizza 4Ps Ben Thanh - good quality pizza!🍕 and it’s super cheap (remember to make your reservation online) 📍Ho Thi Ky Food Street - it’s a flower shop in the morning. 📍Ivoire Pastry Boutique, Vietnam 🧁 This has to be the best pastry shop we've ever been to. I have to say, we went to Cafe Ivoire almost every day while in Ho Chi Minh City. My friend especially loved their cinnamon rolls (they toast them for you, which were incredibly delicious and fluffy). Cinnamon rolls sell out so quickly, so you have to get there early and try your luck, or order in advance on Instagram—the easiest option. 😃😄 Now, let's talk about the cakes. You don't have to fly to Paris or Singapore to find Cédric Grolet—just head to Ivory Coast. We had strawberry shortcake, avocado tiramisu, mango, corn, and peach. 😋😍 The strawberry avocado tiramisu was absolutely amazing! You have to try it, everyone! But my favorite was the strawberry shortcake. There were tiny chocolate chips hidden within the layers of shortcake, which complemented the soft texture of the cake perfectly. Wrapped in avocado and passion fruit, it's absolutely delicious. The tiramisu in the "caviar" box made us hesitate between chocolate-covered sago or chocolate spheres. 😄😄 Every cake here is creative, technical, and incredibly delicious. The staff informed us that some cakes contain alcohol, so they may not be suitable for children.
