Built in the 31st year of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. 🏞 116 meters long
🔆 In 1937, the Japanese invaders came south from the Fuyang River. Due to flooding, the bridge was submerged, so the Japanese blew up the middle arch of Hengshui Anji Bridge, which was later repaired.
🌠 Due to time constraints, there are still some places I haven't had time to visit. I'll come back again!

Hengshui Anji Bridge
Hengshui Anji Bridge is located on Shengli East Road, Taocheng District, Hengshui City, Hebei Province. It is a seven-arch stone bridge spanning the Fuyang River and the Yellow River, first built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. The bridge is 116 meters long and 7.5 meters wide, with each arch spanning 10 meters.
In a certain sense, Hengshui Anji Bridge is a 'symbol of historical memory' and a 'chain of urban cultural development' for Hengshui. Protecting Hengshui Anji Bridge is a form of respect and inheritance of historical culture.
On May 3, 2013, Hengshui Anji Bridge was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
Jizhou Old Street
Jizhou ancient city block is now a key cultural relics protection unit in Hebei Province, but it is not recommended to visit recently, as it is currently undergoing extensive renovation, and many landmark buildings have been enclosed (see last image). After inquiring with the construction team, it is estimated that the renovation may not be completed until the end of this year.
Jizhou ancient city block is located in the northern part of the city, on the southwest shore of Hengshui Lake, east of Hengshui Lake, 1000 meters north of Hengshui Lake District, west of Ji Ma Canal, and south of the intersection of Hengshui Lake and Ji Ma Canal. Surrounded by water, it covers an area of 15,000 square meters. The district was built in the early 1960s, with buildings mainly consisting of flat houses with blue brick ridges, square battlements on the houses for reinforcement, arched doors, and shapes such as square pools and triangles above the doors, engraved with slogans of the era, reflecting the strong specific atmosphere of X governance of the sixties and seventies of the last century. On October 23, 2008, it was announced by the People's Government of Hebei Province as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.
Jizhou Old Town District|You definitely shouldn't miss this street when you're in Hengshui
You definitely shouldn't miss this street when you're in Hengshui.
The surprise of this trip to Hengshui was discovering this old town area from the 1960s.
"The Jizhou Old Town District has not been developed at all, the old alleys hide the most comfortable life, it's the atmosphere of daily life, a sense of belonging, memories, necessities like firewood, rice, oil, and salt, the dawn and dusk, days are plain but joyful."
Taking photos is also very rewarding, with a documentary feel and very nice lighting effects, local people in Hengshui should definitely go and experience it!! It's worth mentioning that the items in the shops are also very cheap, ice pops are only 1 yuan each!!
Now these old buildings have been protected... However, it's fortunate to be able to see them as it's not easy, they are all traces of history... I'm also very grateful, to be born in such a fortunate place as China.
🤫Address: Jizhou District, Haisheng Moxibustion Supplies Distributor
🤫Transport: We drove ourselves, it took about three to four hours to drive from Puyang in Henan to Hengshui... The time passed quickly chatting and laughing with friends on the road
Visit the ancient town of Lüli by the Hengshui Lake
During the May Day holiday, I came to Hengshui, Hebei with good friends, first visited the Hengshui Lake Wetland Park, and then arrived at the ancient town of Lüli on the east side of Hengshui Lake. It is located between Taocheng District and Jizhou District of Hengshui City, about ten kilometers south of Hengshui city center. Lüli ancient town is newly built in reference to the ancient architectural style, taking Sun Jing, a local Confucian scholar of Hengshui, as a model, continuing his spirit of 'diligent study and valuing education', aiming to inherit history and shape a distinctive cultural soul. It has been honored as one of the top ten research bases in Hebei Province that 'must be visited' and the Hebei Province Ecological Environment Education Base. Inside, there are many courtyards, including schools, inns, homestays, and so on.
Hengshui Lake
The Hengshui Lake National Nature Reserve in Hebei Province is located in the Binhu New District of Hengshui City, covering a total area of 163.65 square kilometers, of which Xihu (West Lake) is 32.5 square kilometers and Donghu (East Lake) is 42.5 square kilometers.
It is the only natural reserve in the North China Plain that maintains a complete wetland ecosystem, including marshes, mudflats, waters, meadows, and forests. The reserve is home to a wide variety of animal and plant species, serving as an ecological sanctuary for inland freshwater wetlands and a natural protection area for first and second class protected bird species.
It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national-level tourism demonstration unit.
Hengshui Museum
Hengshui Museum is a comprehensive museum with a building area of 12,000 square meters and an exhibition hall area of 5,000 square meters. The Jizhou Museum at the top of the nine provinces
The Jizhou Museum is located on the north side of Hubin East Road, Jizhou District, Hengshui City, Hebei Province. The exhibition area of the museum is 9,218 square meters, divided into three floors. The first floor is the Jizhou Museum, including three exhibition halls: Jizhou History, Jizhou Celebrities, and Jizhou Intangible Cultural Heritage.
After more than 5,000 years of history, as early as the Neolithic Age, there were ancestors thriving here. Yu divided the nine provinces with Jizhou as the first. The abbreviation of Hebei Province is "Ji", which is derived from this.
