🐟 Delicious Meal @ Ah Restaurant, Hatyai!
#wheretogo
Address:
105 Supasarnrangsan Rd, Hat Yai, Hat Yai District, Songkhla 90110, Thailand
If you're craving for some chinese food while at Hatyai, then make your way to Ah Restaurant! It is located near the Kim Yong Market, and you'll be able to easily order your food as the lady knows Teochew!
We ordered Deep Fried Tofu with Crab Meat (it was REAL crab meat y'all!), Teochew Style Steam Fish, and Fried Chinese Kale with Salted Fish. The tofu dish is a MUST TRY and was highly recommended by staff and servers there!
It all totalled up to 1080 baht, which was a complete steal. Big portions, delicious, and so worth the price!

☕️ Hum Coffee Brewer @ Hatyai
#wheretogo
Address:
9 Pracharom Alley, Tambon Hat Yai, Hat Yai District, Songkhla 90110, Thailand
Hum Coffee was recommended to us by a Hatyai local, and it sure was a gem indeed!
The cafe was really small, there were only two tables. However, the setting was really comfortable and cozy! We loved how there was a glass panel that featured posters of local events and art scene. That's how we found out about a flea market and decided to check it out!
The coffee of course, was amazing too. It was too bad that they weren't selling the particular beans that was used to make our cup of Cafe Latte!
There was also an adorable pit bull at the side of the cafe! Bonus of going to Hum Coffee for all of us! 🤣

☕️ Hyping Up @ HYPE Coffee Bar, Hatyai
#wheretogo
Address:
19 Nipatuthit 2 Rd, Tambon Hat Yai, Hat Yai District, Songkhla 90110
The cafe scene is up and brewing lately at Hatyai, and we're particularly fond of this little cafe we visited called "HYPE Coffee Bar".
We love the minimalistic and yet sophisticated interior. Everything looked clean and proper in this little cafe. The owner/barista knows his beans well, and recommends which coffee for you to take depending on your taste buds.
We got one cappucino and one latte to-go, and it costs us only 140 baht. We really enjoyed our visit there and the lovely chat with the owner!

🐔 Dining at โกตี๋โอชา Gotee Ocha
#wheretogo
Address:
134 134 Thanon Niphatuthit 3, Hat Yai, Hat Yai District, Songkhla 90110
Gotee Ocha is known for their succulent steamed chicken and their crispy roast pork. They're also known for their Singapore-style bak kut teh but we didn't order that.
We could gobble down an entire pot of chicken rice if our stomach had space! It was so fragrant and comforting! Our small plate of chicken and roast pork with 2 rice comes to a total of 345 baht. Amazing affordable too!
The lovely lady at the counter was kind enough to give us a nice peace sign as we took the last picture at the restaurant 🤣 So hospitable and oh so adorable!

Tor Rung Chi Chang in Hat Yai
We went to Hat Yai and were looking for a place to stay in that area. The owner of the accommodation recommended walking a bit and we found a food center called Chu Chang, similar to a night market in various places. There are many kinds of food to choose from, such as chicken rice, noodles, sushi, pork leg rice, fried meatballs, and water shops. Everything is here. And the modern thing here is that every shop has a sound transmitter. When the shop is finished cooking, the machine will sound to alert us. It's very convenient to call because we don't have to stand in front of the shop. We can walk around and look at other shops. There are many seats, both chairs and Japanese-style tables. Finally, we walked around and ended up at the Moo Krob Jom Phalang shop. We ordered crispy pork curry rice. I have to say that the crispy pork is very good. It's delicious. I want to order more. #thailand #recommend delicious restaurants #secret location #food in Hat Yai #Hat Yai

Hatyai Roast Suckling Pig
Hat Yai in southern Thailand
We came to a restaurant with a rack full of roasted suckling pigs. The suckling pigs were slowly roasted over charcoal until they were golden and shiny. This restaurant is located in the city center and has a great location.
The small pieces of skin on the roasted suckling pig were crispy and had a hint of fat.
After eating the suckling pig skin, the suckling pig was sent back to the kitchen to cook another dish.
