🇸🇬🇲🇾 Travel Hack: Aeroline Bus from Singapore to KL
#travelhacks
Traveling from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur has never been easier or more cost-effective than with the Aeroline bus service. With a ticket priced at around $44, it offers a cheaper alternative to flying. Departing from Harbourfront Centre, the journey to the heart of Kuala Lumpur takes about 5 hours. Throughout the trip, passengers enjoy a comfortable ride with meals and hot drinks provided, enhancing the travel experience.
My personal experience on the Aeroline was exceptionally good, appreciating the convenience and comfort it offered. It’s an ideal choice for those who prefer a stress-free journey, directly arriving in the center of Kuala Lumpur, close to main attractions and accommodations.
For anyone considering a trip between these two cities, Aeroline offers a blend of affordability, comfort, and convenience, making it a top choice for travelers.

Scenic View along Harbourfront Walk
#familytrips2024
Stroll along the waterfront promenade and enjoy views of luxury yachts, lush greenery, and the city skyline. Take a leisurely walk and admire the modern design against the backdrop of the harbor. You can also talk a short walk from Harbourfront to Sentosa Island. Enjoy views of the bay and lush surroundings. The best time to visit HarbourFront for scenic views is during sunset or dusk. As the sun sets, the city lights twinkle, creating a magical atmosphere. You’ll enjoy breathtaking vistas of the waterfront, Sentosa Island, and the surrounding skyline. Don’t forget your camera!

HarbourFront ferry terminal
Address - HarbourFront Centre, 1 Maritime Square, #02-53/54/55, Singapore 099253
Taking a ferry to the nearby destinations from Singapore is really convenient. Within the building itself, there are many ferry service providers to choose from. Different prices will command different levels of comfort and luxury, but all are generally reliable.
If you have time before or after your ferry ride, there is even a massage and spa store on site. There are also various eateries to grab a bite at if you’re feeling hungry. Very well-equipped terminal.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First a pretty baby-pink floral theme at their first outlet in Takashimaya, and now another gorgeous purple flowery concept at their newest store in VivoCity. These guys at Cafe Q Classified really know how to attract the crowds 😍
The food was great too, but we would have enjoyed bigger portions! 😋
A Mall With A Harbour View
Vivocity is popular and well known among both locals and tourists. Located at 1 HarbourFront Walk, this mall is interconnected with the hold harbourfront mall where is also an inbuilt cruise center where travellers would normally travel via boat to a few places in Batam, like waterfront city, harbour bay and batam centre.
Vivocity is also a mall that is 3 stories tall with a total of 142,000 Square meters which consists alsp of a movie theater, many popular restaurants and of course a roof top play area. For people who want to also travel to sentosa, vivocity also act as a gateway for the sky train. And now till end of September, sentosa is having free entry both by car and via the sentosa express!

The Mooncake Festival Event At Vivocity
Mooncake festival is round the corner at the 10th of September this year and many are preparing to get boxes of mooncakes as gifts of appreciation to friends and relative.
There is a road show currently happening at level 1, infront of tangs where there are more than 15 over vendors selling their mooncakes. From hotel brands like intercontinental, the ritz carlton, goodwood Park, mandarin oriental and famous bakeries like bakers well, bakers oven, bangawan solo and many more!
Most of the shops here have discounts when you get 2 or more boxes where some discounts could start from 18% while some goes all the way to even 40%. Do make sure you have a look around and compare the prices before you come to a decision.
Also, for kids who wants to also get lantern, they are able to get cute little animal lanterns located at the far end of the booth away from tangs.
This is a tangs event, where you will order your mooncakes first, head to counter for payment and head back to the promoter serving you. Same concept as tangs.

Strolling from HarbourFront to Sentosa
Strolling from HarbourFront Promenade to Sentosa via the HarbourFront Boardwalk offers stunning contrasts—on one side, the bustling port with towering cranes and massive cargo ships; on the other, the resort island’s tropical allure. As the city fades behind, the shimmering sea and approaching Sentosa skyline create an unforgettable scene. A walk bridging two worlds!

Saving The Good Memories
#favouriteitinerary
Whenever I travel overseas with my family members and friends, we will definitely try out the photo booth where we can take beautiful pictures and keep it as memories. When we grow older, we can look back at those happy memories where we have our fun travelling overseas . You can try out the dollop print club there to take pictures with your friends and family members too , and keep them as memories for all. You can customise the design and add in cartoon characters to the images to beautify it. The price is very affordable at 10 Singapore dollars only. The next time you come to Singapore , you can take pictures again, and see how much you have changed.

If you are bringing children along on a holiday trip to Singapore , then you can consider enrolling some activities for them to enjoy themselves during the trip. At the harbour front shopping mall, you would be able to find a booth where children can unleash their creative juices into a beautiful artwork. There is also a toy claw machine where they can claw out the favourite toys that they wanted. You can also take a ferry ride to the nearby batam and bintan via the ferry station which is right inside the shopping mall. But do remember to bring along your passport there . The place is definitely great for familyie with young children .
The Night Harbour of Singapore!
Singapore’s Harbour area offers a mix of scenic views, entertainment, and attractions. Here are some highlights:
Singapore harbour area at night is great.
Visit the Marina Bay Sands – Iconic rooftop views, infinity pool (hotel guests only), and a casino.
Gardens by the Bay – Supertree Grove, Cloud Forest, and Flower Dome.
Merlion Park – A classic photo spot with views of Marina Bay. Visiting Merlion Park at night offers a completely different experience compared to the daytime. Here’s why:
1. Stunning Night Views
The Marina Bay skyline lights up beautifully, creating a perfect backdrop for photos.
Iconic landmarks like Marina Bay Sands, the Esplanade, and the Singapore Flyer are illuminated.
2. Light Shows & Reflections
Catch the Spectra – A Light & Water Show at Marina Bay Sands, which happens at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM (with an extra show at 10:00 PM on weekends).
The city lights reflecting on the bay make the entire area look magical.
3. Cooler and More Comfortable
Singapore’s tropical heat can be intense during the day, but the evenings are much more pleasant for a stroll.
4. Romantic & Relaxing Atmosphere
It’s a great spot for a quiet evening walk or a romantic moment by the water.
Street performers and musicians sometimes add to the ambiance.
5. Less Crowded
While it’s still a popular spot, the nighttime crowds are often smaller compared to the peak daytime tourist rush.

Community Arts Collection
#newyearnewtrip
The community arts collection exhibition gallery can be found at the harbour train station. You can find several pictures drawn by the local artist. They included the public transport such as the buses and the trains , together with the area of interest or landmark in that particular station area. For example, at the harbour front train station, you can find the cable car there . At the raffles place train station, you can find the merlion iconic landmark there .Be sure to visit the exhibition art gallery at the control station area. You can also get to know more about Singapore landmarks there.
Sentosa Express Bus
#newyearnewtrip
I queued up at the harbour front bus stop to take a bus to the sentosa island. The price is three dollars into the sentosa island. I have paid using the ezlink card. The ezlink card is like the transport card in Singapore. You can use it to take public buses and train here. You can purchase one from the train station for ten dollars. There would be five dollars value inside. The ride takes about ten minutes to reach sentosa. The bus ride was comfortable and there weren't many people during the Friday afternoon time. It is the best time to go sentosa as the weather is much cooling compared to the morning. In addition, there might also be some shows and lighting decorations there too.
Harbor front Centre
#myhiddengems
Visited harbor front centre. There are lots of food options over here like sushi, vegetarian food, mos burger, Starbucks, koi, four leaves etc. super huge mall with lots of food options and also a bit of shopping here and there. Variety is huge. There’s also a Don Don Don ki here which is huge and amazing and also a super market cold storage for you to shop for groceries. Overall nice place to be at

Premium Truffle Chirashi Don at Harbourfront Singapore
I recently just discovered Hitoyoshi Yoshi Sushi Restaurant at Harbourfront Centre, it's been a while since I've been there! If you're a big eater and craving Japanese cuisine around the area, this spot is worth checking out. While not every dish was a hit, I highly recommend the Premium Truffle Chirashi Don. Not only does it look amazing, but it's incredibly fresh too. The cozy, open-concept seating is quite comfortable as well.

Unforgettable Moment on Virgo Star Cruise
#winhkflight
Staying on the Virgo Star Cruise is a fantastic adventure at sea. The rooms are comfy and offer great views of the ocean. During the day, you can swim, work out, or relax at the spa. There's tasty food from around the world to enjoy at meal times. And when night falls, the ship comes alive with exciting shows and a fun nightclub. It's like being on a floating hotel, but even better because you're surrounded by water. It's a wonderful way to have a vacation while exploring new places and enjoying all the amenities the cruise has to offer.
I want to travel to Hong Kong to visit the cruise.
Seasons Celebrations
#thingstodo
During the festive season, there will be decorations placed outside the harbour front shopping mall. The cute decorations and the cartoons would definitely get the attention of the children . There is even candy floss available for consumption for the children too. It is definitely a very fun and exciting season to be in. Parents would definitely enjoy bringing their children to celebrate the festive season. For the upcoming festive seasons, be sure to visit this place again to see what are some of the decorations here.
Funland in town
#thingstodo
During the festive season , the harbour front mall will have fun activities outside their mall. This time round they have this huge balloon carnival. The carnival is very exciting and has attracted many children to play in the balloon playhouse. They will definitely enjoy the slides there and make new friends while playing inside the playhouse. There are also light snacks available for them to enjoy while playing at the playhouse there. Do check out more activities at the mall. There will be more activities for the upcoming festive seasons .
🧧Huat at Harbourfront Centre
Before heading to Batam, come over to Harbourfront Centre and receive auspicious blessings from the zodiac readings. There are 12 zodiac animals and each birth year is represented by a different zodiac animal. This coming is rabbit year and you can spot many rabbits in all the CNY decorations. At Harbourfront centre, their theme is Joyous Spring Festival and the main entrance is decorated in a pink theme. There is also a huge white rabbit as the main display.

Harbourfront Centre Kiddy rides
#meetsingapore
When you have so many children finishing their classes at Harbourfront centre, you cannot avoid all these kiddy rides because they are really everywhere. I think you can use these kiddy rides as a reward for your children after their classes. Also, this is a departure and arrival hall for cruise passengers too. At the cruise departure hall, there are also more kiddy rides. What makes them unique is that there are hardly any repeated rides so each ride is new and it will entice children to play on them. It is also a convenient place with the MRT integrated with the mall. There are also many office buildings here. So the parents who work here can manage their children’s classes easily.
Arts @ MRT - Harbourfront MRT
#meetsingapore
Thanks to the previous campaign on #artshunting and this has inspired me to open my eyes when I take the MRT, especially on the newer lines. I can find more art on these new stations. The new TEL will be opening soon in November and will be giving out free rides to commuters to try it out. The art theme “Enigmatic Appearances” at Harbourfront MRT is all blue like the ocean. This is also a MRT interchange station with 2 different MRT lines so it is always very crowded. Most of the art works are on the long corridor walkway towards Harbourfront bus interchange and Harbourfront centre. So you will need to go in that direction then you can see more.
