[Tochigi] Mobility Resort Motegi
The MotoGP motorcycle racing world championship has come to Japan for the first time in three years! It's amazing to be able to watch the races up close, faster than the Shinkansen bullet train.
There aren't many hotels around the rink, so it seems the standard to stay in Utsunomiya or Mito.
By the way, "Twin Ring Motegi" has changed its name to "Mobility Resort Motegi" this year.

Mashiko ware has been popular for daily use since the kilns were built at the end of the Edo period.
The main street of Mashiko Town, "Jounaizaka", is lined with stylish Mashiko ware galleries and shops.
There are so many that it's hard to know which shop to go to, so we'll introduce some recommended shops♬
◆ "Pottery Gallery Touko"
The interior has a calm atmosphere. Touko, which uses an ivy-covered Oya stone rice storehouse and a Taisho-era merchant house as its store, is celebrating its 48th year since its founding.
The back of the store is an exhibition like a museum, and it's fun just to look at it!
You can take your time to look at the works of artists active in Mashiko.

[Tochigi] Mashiko ware pottery tour "Kogama Iwashita"
Mashiko Town, Tochigi Prefecture, known for Mashiko ware, is home to about 250 kilns and pottery stores, but this time we visited Kogama Iwashita (Iwashita Pottery), a kiln founded in 1866!
You can also visit the town's designated tangible cultural properties, the climbing kiln and the Taiheigama kiln, for free. On the day, the old man at the store gave us a detailed explanation of how to fire pottery from long ago, and we were able to feel very close to Mashiko ware☺️
You can also experience pottery, so please give it a try!

[Tochigi] Sweet all-you-can-eat strawberry picking at Yoshimura Farm
Speaking of Tochigi, strawberry picking is the best 🍓
There are many strawberry farms around here, but one that I particularly recommend is "Yoshimura Farm"!
Normally, there are 2-3 varieties, but here you can enjoy 10 varieties ♪ It's also fun to compare the taste of the original Tochigi brand strawberry "Tochiotome" and the new variety "Tochiaika" 😆
By the way, it seems that the varieties with "Tochi" in the name are original varieties of Tochigi 💡
Please find your favorite strawberry ~

[Tochigi] You can still enjoy the moss phlox
Ichikaimachi Shibazakura Park in Ichikaimachi, Tochigi Prefecture 🌸 Visited on 2022.4.26 The best time to see it had passed a little, but it was still very beautiful 😊✨ There was also a parking lot and a direct sales store for agricultural products and snacks, so you can enjoy it at your own pace 🎵 *Ichikaimachi Shibazakura Park 614-1 Mikami, Ichikaimachi, Tochigi Prefecture 321-3402 #hotelroyalpark #flowerfield #sakura #IchikaimachiShibazakuraPark
