Mungyeong Saejae Provincial Park: A Scenic Escape
#fallfoliage
Mungyeong Saejae Provincial Park is perfect for a relaxing walk, with stunning natural scenery all around. You can stroll on flat paths or venture up to the gate and back for a bit of exercise.
The maze park at the entrance is a fun attraction. If you’re feeling restless, head to the Pungji Course, where you can navigate a maze made of cypress trees and stone walls. There are four small maze parks—while the first one can be a bit tricky, the others are simpler. To avoid getting lost, check the maze map in advance for an easy exit!
The fountain ecological park features a long deck ideal for walking. Whether you’re up for a light hike or a leisurely stroll, you’ll enjoy the beautiful fall foliage. The vibrant colors against the gate wall create a charming, nostalgic landscape.

Beautiful Santa Village in Winter Season
#wintertrip
Did you know that Korea has its own Santa Village? It came up in conversation yesterday, so I thought I would post my pictures from last year. It is in Bongwha County in a small town called Buncheon.
Since it opened in 2014, the town has embraced the idea and has become a bit of a theme park in it's own right. Along with the photo zones, there is an alpaca petting zoo, sled rides, Santa themed cafes, and even the roofs are all red. I went on a snowy weekday, and it was magical. It is open year-round but the Christmas festivities this year are between 2023. 12.
16. (Sat) ~ 2024. 02. 12. (Mon). The small town is easily accessible on the V-train running through the Taebaek mountain range. For location is 1126-4 Buncheon-ri, Socheon-myeon, Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Trip to Museom Village in Winter Season
#wintertrip
The inhabitants also began moving to the cities and the town was nearly abandoned by the 1970s. A large reconstruction occurred from 2004 to 2010, restoring, repairing, and preserving the village.
This is also the site of the Korean drama, Love Rain
(2012). Scenes from The Nokdu Tale (2019), My Country (2019), 100 Days My Prince (2018), and Flowers of the Prison (2016) were also filmed here.
The bridge is one of the 100 most beautiful roads in Korea. For location is238-2 Museom-ro, Munsu-myeon, Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea.
Trip to Museom Village in Winter Season
#wintertrip
There are now two log bridges in the town with one (150m) being the obvious tourist attraction. In October, there is a festival to celebrate the log bridge.
Museom Village has produced many scholars, state officials, wealthy families and the largest number of Korean independence movement leaders during the Japanese colonial rule. By the turn of the 20th century, there were over 500 people living in 120 houses in the village. Unfortunately, there was a large flood in 1934 that destroyed nearly half the houses.
Trip To Museom Village in Winter Season
#wintertrip
Famous for its log bridge, Museom Village is a small traditional hanok village built on a river bend south of Yeongju. The river bend makes the village appear to be on an island. In fact, Museom village translates to
"the island that floats on water." The village was originally settled by Bak Su, who moved there, in 1666, after originally living across the river. For over
300 years, the village was only connected to the outside world by a long log bridge (71 9|4702) that needed to be replaced each year after the monsoon season. A concrete bridge was built in 1983, making the log bridge unnecessary. It was not replaced until 2005 when it was rebuilt.
Sejong Light Festival - All of December
#wintertrip
It is a circular bridge with a walkway for pedestrians (pets allowed) on the top level and bike path below it, making it the first double decker bridge in Korea where you don't have to worry about cars. It is also the longest pedestrian-only bridge in Korea.
The bridge can be accessed from the North and the South, but there is a large parking lot on the North side if you are driving. On the north end, there is a tower-like structure that you can climb to get an aerial view of the bridge. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes on the southside of the bridge along with a park that run along the river.

Michelin Samsung bakery not far from Anton Market. Near the plain old market in Andong, this western-style bakery called Mammoth, which opened in 1974, has more than 40 years of tradition, and dozens of kinds of baked bread that day, awesome taste! Star bread is the kind of cream cheese bread in Figure 1. It is said that every day, just after the pot is sold, it is sold out in minutes.
is the most foreign coffee shop in the old market in Anton BROOKLYM
This time I traveled to South Korea and was fascinated by the local traditional market. Just like the best way to get to know a city is to live there for a year and a half, visit the market and walk the old streets. Going to Korea, the most authentic and simple gameplay must not be lacking in traditional markets.
The old market in Andong, located in the western hole of Andong City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, is the most representative market in many traditional markets in Andong City. It is called delicious market and glamour market by Korean nationals. "Folk music" market, "communication" market.
