Be sure to use the bathroom at the entrance as there are no opportunities along the way or at the top of the hill. Take water with. There are benches at the top of the hill to rest. Stepping into Yingtan Fantawild Oriental Heritage is like entering a dreamland. The ancient-style buildings are arranged in an orderly manner, and the white walls and black tiles exude a rustic charm under the sunlight.
Walking among them, the peach blossoms are in full bloom, the pink petals are like clouds, and the breeze blows, and the fallen flowers are colorful. In the distance, the green mountains are like ink, undulating, and the blue sky and white clouds complement each other.
In the garden, the green bamboos form a forest, the slender bamboo joints rise upwards, and the bamboo leaves rustle, as if telling ancient stories. 🚘Mount Longhu self-driving parking: There are several parking lots at the visitor center, Xianshui Rock parking lot, Zhengyi Temple, Shangqing Ancient Town, and Shangqing Palace.
If you travel to Mount Longhu during holidays, considering the large number of tourists, there may be situations where it is difficult to park or you have to wait in line for a long time. 🚖It is recommended to navigate to "Xianshui Rock Parking Lot" first, or book accommodation in a homestay around Xianshui Rock Parking Lot. Park in the homestay's parking space and enter the scenic area from Xianshui Rock (that is, the west gate of Mount Longhu). Walk a few minutes to the Xianshui Rock Pier for bamboo rafts. After taking the bamboo raft🛶, cross the (Good Luck Bridge) floating bridge to Taohuazhou to wait for the coffin-lifting performance. Then walk to Elephant Trunk Hill South Station, turn right to take a car to Shangqing Ancient Town, and take a car in the opposite direction to Elephant Trunk Hill East.
🚁The scenic area is currently friendly to drones, but there are many tourists watching the coffin-lifting performance. There will be a water jump height during the water performance, so be careful not to fly too low. Sometimes there are powered paragliders flying in the scenic area, so pay attention to flight safety.

The Successor of Han Dynasty Heavenly Master Mansion is an important part of the Longhu Mountain Ancient Buildings Complex, which is one of the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. It is located in Shangqing Town under Longhu Mountain in Guixi City, Yingtan, Jiangxi Province. It is the location of the 15th Taoist Cave Heaven and the 32nd Blessed Land. It is the ancestral temple of the Zhengyi School of Taoism and the Longhu Sect.
The Heavenly Master Mansion was first built in the fourth year of Chongning in the Northern Song Dynasty. It was a private residence built by Zhang Jixian, the 30th Heavenly Master granted by Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty. It was the place where the Heavenly Masters of all generations lived and worshipped gods. It was originally called Zhenxian Temple. In the Yuan Dynasty, Kublai Khan conferred the title of the 36th Heavenly Master Zhang Zongyan as "Successor of Han Dynasty Heavenly Master", so the Heavenly Master Mansion was called "Successor of Han Dynasty Heavenly Master Mansion"; in the eighth year of Dade in the Yuan Dynasty (1304), Emperor Chengzong of Yuan Dynasty conferred the title of the 38th Heavenly Master Zhang Yucai as "Zhengyi Sect Master, concurrently in charge of the Three Mountains Talismans", and managed the Taoism in Jiangnan.
At the beginning of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang changed the title of the 42nd Heavenly Master Zhang Zhengchang to "Zhengyi Successor True Man", and changed the "Si Han Heavenly Master's Mansion" to "Zhengyi True Man's Mansion", ordered Zhang Tianshi to "forever manage the Taoist affairs of the world", and granted 15 taels of white gold to build the Heavenly Master's Mansion on the current site. In the seventh year of Emperor Xianfeng's reign (1857), the Heavenly Master's Mansion was destroyed by the war of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and was later rebuilt. The performers walk on the cliff with nylon ropes, which is very shocking and worth seeing~
Additionally, we participated in the music festival (event time 7.13-8.13) and watched the drone light show in the evening. It was a very happy night~

Jiangxi Summer Trip Day 3 - Longhu Mountain
Day 3:
We entered the scenic area at 8 a.m. The area has a one-ticket system (each attraction can be visited once). Usually, we buy a full ticket, which includes the cost of the sightseeing bus and drifting (bamboo raft), making it more cost-effective. The sightseeing bus stops on demand and can be taken multiple times to reach each attraction. Due to the hot weather, we didn't walk the plank road. Instead, we took the bus to Zhengyi Temple and then transferred to the shuttle to Tianshi Mansion, touring in reverse back to the starting point. After getting off the bus, we had to pass through the entire Shangqing Ancient Town (which is actually just an ancient architectural commercial street) to reach Tianshi Mansion. In the town, the Tianshi Mansion and Shangqing Palace are worth seeing. Tianshi Mansion is the ancestral court of the Zhengyi sect. The square in front of Tianshi Mansion is large, facing the Luxi River. Most of the existing wooden buildings are relics from the Qing Dynasty. The environment inside Tianshi Mansion is beautiful, and there is also a Fox Immortal Temple. Shangqing Palace is a few kilometers away from here. With fewer tourists, if you don't want to wait for the sightseeing bus, you can take a motorcycle taxi to get there.
We took the bus back to Zhengyi Temple. This Taoist temple is slightly smaller than Tianshi Mansion and was rebuilt in recent decades, so it looks relatively new. You can take a brief look. After exiting Zhengyi Temple, a 5-minute walk will take you to the starting point of the drifting. From here, you drift to the endpoint, Xianshui Rock, which takes about 30 minutes. Along the way, you can enjoy the mountain scenery on both sides. The boatman will tell you some legends about Taishang Laojun and Queen Mother of the West in conjunction with these sceneries. The cliff tombs and hanging coffins of Xianshui Rock are full of mystery. A few minutes after disembarking, you will reach the "Mother of the Earth." After viewing, follow the mountain road across the floating bridge to the opposite Peach Blossom Island to watch the performance. The scenic area has four scheduled "Coffin Raising" performances daily (10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. for reference), demonstrating the process of fixing the coffin into the cave on the cliff. Tourists watch from the shore of Peach Blossom Island, while the performance takes place on the opposite cliff, looking very thrilling. Because "Coffin Raising" sounds like "official promotion" in Chinese, some people come here to seek good luck. After watching, it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to Elephant Trunk Hill Station to take the bus to the scenic area entrance. Annoyingly, the drop-off point is not the same as the entrance, and you have to walk through a small town. With such scorching weather and no shade, it takes 15 minutes to get out, which is quite frustrating. Today's itinerary ended around 3 p.m. After lunch, we drove to Nanchang.

🌸Shangqing Ancient Town
Part of the Longhu Mountain scenic area, so no separate admission is charged. Known as 'China's number one Taoist town', it has many attractions, such as the Celestial Master's Mansion, Changqing Square, and nearby, one of the four great academies of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Xiangshan Academy, as well as the Taiqing Palace, Dongyue Palace, and more.

A national second-level museum, it doesn't have a large number of exhibits, but those interested in Taoist culture might enjoy a visit.
