2025 Governor Generoso Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in May)

Upon arrival at the resort, you will be accommodated by their staff which is a plus factor for me. During our stay, we enjoyed the place as well as the beach with big waves since this is facing the pacific ocean. Since this is a secluded place, clean water and electricity is limited. So the resort provided a generator and water tank a plus factor for me. Overall the place was so beautiful and relaxing. I can give them 8/10. we are all teachers and whenever there are holidays, we want to unwind and relax. We chose the Governor Generoso in Davao Oriental to visit and one of the itinerary is the Mt. Hamiguitan Nature's Park. during this time, Mt. Hamiguitan is not open yet for mountaineers however, you can get a glimpse of what you will see in the mountain. The mountain is famous for its Bonsai Forest. According to our guide, no tree taller than three feet in Mt. Hamiguitan. It is because of the climate up there. in the Nature's park, you will see pictures taken from the mountain. There were even a replica of the Bonsai tree shown which we all found it cute. #worththeclimb #outdoors
