While visiting the Besalides Baths in Gundar, I enjoyed exploring the unique architecture and rich history of this historic site.
Standing in front of the massive structures that formed part of the vast palace complex, she imagined how they were used during the time of Emperor Basilides.
I enjoyed looking at the statues and artistic inscriptions that adorned the baths, and loved the beauty of the interior and exterior decorations of the building.
I toured the vast corridors and huge plazas surrounding the site, and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of this unique historical site.
Visiting the Besalides Baths was an interesting and unique cultural experience as it left me with a deeper appreciation for Ethiopian history and culture.

Haven't thought about it yet
Location: Gondel
Experience: Local MSF and Red Cross NGOs and government medical services.
I am a native Hongkonger, boy. 33 years old.
I have never thought about traveling abroad since I was born, nor do I want to travel anywhere!
But there is a strange dream that affects me for a long time, so that I am in a state of sleeplessness for a long time.
Here’s the thing: I often dream about 1 snowy volcano with a torn arid grassland on the east side in my sleep. There is 1 lost community trapped by famine and civil war. Originally, Israel systematically arranged for the return of these Falasha people to Israel over the years. But one of them had difficulty leaving Gondel due to leukemia. The HLA organ transplant matching contrast in the dream shows ~ my bone marrow is suitable for this person, but I don't know what kind of birth she has ~ nor whether she is a boy or a girl. Of course I don't know what his name is.
I have never had experience traveling abroad, I am deaf and mute and amblyopic with macular degeneration.
Also I have not promised angels or promised anyone in my dreams ~ I have not expressed my willingness to save people with my bone marrow!
But if he can come to Hong Kong, I am very willing to help him!
I'm here just to ask experienced travelers: Is it possible for a Hong Kong deaf, dumb and visually impaired person who doesn't understand the language to go to the famine and civil war-stricken areas in Africa? Although this person suffering from leukemia and I have never met. But the angel appeared in my dream again, and I believe there may be something hidden behind it. I don't know what to do? I also don’t have the ability to go that far! Maybe I'm just an insider~ but I can't do anything... eh... I hope I don't have this dream again!
Feel free to follow me and I will document and share my travel experience!
