This medicinal chicken dish really left me with an unforgettable memory. It was the most satisfying meal I had during my trip to Seoul! The soup is really delicious, like Taiwanese garlic chicken with the warm aroma of Korean medicinal food. Every bite warms the heart. Drinking the hot soup will instantly make all the tiredness from the journey disappear! We ordered the signature chicken, and when it was served, we were really shocked by the size, it was such a huge pot! Two people can't finish it at all, and those with smaller appetites can even share it among three. The chicken is stewed to perfection, not dry at all, melts in your mouth, and the meat and bones fall apart easily with a slight tear. It’s super healing! The pancakes in the store are also highly recommended. They are crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, not greasy, and have a layered taste. They go perfectly with soup. I was looking forward to Gimpo Venice, but when I arrived I found out - there was no water in the canal! I had expected to see colorful lights reflected on the shimmering water, but it turned out to be a dry waterway. The scene was a bit unexpected and a bit funny. Although the canal scenery is gone, the cafes and restaurants on both sides are still bustling and the atmosphere is still good! It is not clear why the canal is empty, perhaps it is undergoing maintenance or some kind of seasonal adjustment? Friends who want to go can check the recent situation first to avoid being disappointed like us! Although the canal scenery is missing, you can still take a walk and enjoy the night view and delicious food of Gimpo Venice if you happen to be staying nearby. If you just want to see the light show and eat delicious food, you can still come and take a walk.
