#fallingforfall I’ve been visiting my father’s hometown in Nueva Ecija since I was a child every year but it was only a few years ago that I discovered this hidden gem, which is just a few minutes drive in a nearby town. The Minalungao National Park offers unique towering rock formations. green pristine river as well as a serene atmosphere. It under the government’s protection as it is considered to be one of the few remaining natural environments in the north region. High limestones are on both sides of the river adding to its charm and there are caves around the area. Minalungao National Park is a protected area of the Philippines located in the municipality of General Tinio, Nueva Ecija, near its Boundary with Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan. The park covers an area of 2,018 hectares[1] centered along the scenic Peñaranda River bordered on both sides by up to 16-meter high limestone walls in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range

Minalungao & Labi River located in the Philippines, 4 to 6 hrs travel from Manila.

It's worth the travel. Unfortunately, the minalungao national park itself is already close.So we have to choose from one of the other available resorts there. Anyways, they have Affordable floating cottages and entrance fee is only 50pesos.There is not much things to do but it is a nice place to just relax and get in touch with nature. Beautiful natural rock formations. Water is the coldes, greenest I have seen in awhile. Trail good for newbies. Facilities not very well maintianed tho. A life the same time they should do something about the noisy motorcycles with open pipes coming in and out of the park, this is a protected DENR national park so they should be protecting nature from noise pollution! #themepark#staycation#staycation #skiadventure#beachlife
