We rented bikes from Fujisanbike Studio. It's best to arrive in the morning; daily rentals start at 2,000 yen. It's quite cold in late October, so warm clothes or thermal underwear are essential. We ended up urgently buying extra gear at Uniqlo. It's easier to walk the route clockwise: the flow of cars and tour buses heads toward Oishi Park in the morning, so traffic will be calmer this way. There are almost no cafes along the way, so it's easier to grab a snack at Lawson and have a mini picnic on the shore. The full circuit takes a few hours, but the route is easy and suitable even for those without prior training. Yagizaki Park A wide view of Mount Fuji and a quiet embankment where you can take photos without the crowds. Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine Satomiya A temple away from the tourist traffic. This saves a lot of time and money on transfers. 📍 Tokyo - 4 days Started in the capital: observation decks, city districts, cuisine, nightlife. Endless photo spots. The pace is fast but very vibrant. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time for a day trip to Kamakura 🥲 📍 Fuji / Kawaguchiko - 2 days Came here for views of Mount Fuji and peaceful bike rides along the lake. I embarked on my long-awaited trip to Mount Fuji, and experienced the unique charm of this famous Japanese mountain for myself. After arriving, I chose to start my journey from Mishima Station on the Shinkansen. My first stop was Gotemba Premium Outlets, where I enjoyed shopping at the foot of Mount Fuji. Then I went to Lake Yamanaka, where I took a ride on a cute swan boat and a hippo-themed amphibious vehicle, and admired the black sand beach and the lake and mountain scenery. In the evening, I headed to Fuji-Q Highland, where I rode the thrilling roller coaster and looked down at Mount Fuji from the rides, which was a unique and breathtaking experience. On the second day, I went to Lake Kawaguchi, where I took the panoramic cable car to the top in 3 minutes, and took in the beautiful scenery of the entire Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji. I took the Tenjo Maru boat around the lake, and admired the magnificence of Mount Fuji from different angles. The music and forest art museum along the lake exuded a romantic European style, which I was intoxicated by. Nagasaki Park, Oishi Park, and other places on the north shore are all great places to view Mount Fuji, where the mountains and lakes reflect each other, and the scenery is as beautiful as a painting. It was so nice trip my kids enjoyed it so much and it was so unforgettable experience. They also had so much parking and it’s so enjoyable for adult as well.

#ShizuokaTrip A huge park facility at the foot of Mt. Fuji. It's like a nature theme park, divided into three parts: the city, the water country, and the grassland country. They regularly offer discounts on admission for adults, so it's 530 yen instead of 830 yen for adults. It's free for elementary school students and younger, so it's a very convenient price setting. There are plenty of play programs, and you can canoe and fish for rainbow trout. However, since it was Children's Day, it was already full and sold out when I entered. I wanted to interact with the animals at the ranch, but the park is huge. It's quite far away...I heard that the means of transportation are the train and the park's circular bus, but those were also full, and although the grounds are large, various things were saturated. I think I'd enjoy it more if they improved it a bit more, or if I came when there were fewer people. Next time I'd like to try more play programs.

There's a steam locomotive just a short distance from Iriyamase Station in Shizuoka Prefecture! I was a bit curious, so I got off and discovered that it used to be in operation. I was able to see a big, impressive steam locomotive at this small station. There was also a library that had been converted from a train in front of the steam locomotive. I wasn't able to see it in operation, but it's definitely worth a visit! It's within reach of Fujinomiya and Fuji, so why not stop by for a quick train break? #Fujinomiya #Fuji #Shizuoka

It's also great for taking photos from the observation deck! There aren't many lights, so a flashlight is a must here too! ☺️ I intentionally took this photo so that the observation railing is visible. 😊 ⁡ Also, at this time, around 10:30 PM, Mt.
