The Amyntas Rock Tombs don’t feel like a separate attraction. They feel like part of Fethiye itself. What makes them interesting isn’t just the history—it’s the setting: 🏛️ Massive tombs carved directly into the cliff 🏙️ Modern city life happening right below them 🌄 A short climb that gives you both history and a view 📸 That contrast of ancient + everyday life Climbing up is quick but a bit steep. Once you’re there, the perspective changes—you’re looking out over rooftops, the marina, and the mountains behind. A few things I noticed: ☀️ It gets very hot during the day—go early or later 👟 Steps are uneven but manageable 📸 The view is just as good as the tombs themselves It’s one of those places that doesn’t require much time—but leaves a strong impression.

But if you're hunting for the absolute freshest seafood, this is your spot. 📍Ölüdeniz and the Blue Lagoon - Hands down one of the most stunning beaches in Turkey. It's just a 15–20 minute drive from Fethiye. 📍Kayaköy Ghost Town - An abandoned Greek village about 15 minutes away from Fethiye. Picture hundreds of empty stone houses dotting a hillside. You can catch a minibus there from the white mosque. 📍Saklıkent Gorge - One of the deepest canyons in the entire world. 📍Göcek - The St. Tropez of Turkey. Göcek is only a 30-minute drive from Fethiye, but the vibe is worlds apart.
