Even with winter breeze the walk has wonderful views to help you switch off and breath fresh air. little cafes are open on each beach with decent coffee and hot chocolate. Gilly beach has much more elaborated establishment for great lunch or evening drinks.

The National Maritime Museum is located in the southern English town of Falmouth. Coinciding with Saturday, there is a small market outside the museum selling crafts, art and authentic snacks. The Museum is great for the whole family and not only has a large exhibition of ship models, submarines and ancient nautical equipment, but also an introduction to British naval history and Falmouth’s shipbuilding culture. Inside the children's interactive area has soft play and can simulate driving a boat. The museum has a glass observation tower on the highest floor that overlooks the entire harbor, while the bottom is even more special – a viewing window below sea level that overlooks the water below the pier and, if the time is right (e.g. high tide), sees fish swimming by, very special, as if diving into the bottom of the sea. #Parent-Child Activities

A lovely weekend getaway in Cornwall, UK. Even the drive alone is mesmerizing, with breathtaking views along the way. The hotel is just wonderful, offering beautiful natural scenery and excellent facilities. There’s a lovely walk to the riverbank and around it, perfect for a peaceful stroll. A must-visit is Trebah Garden — absolutely stunning and with historical significance from World War I or II (not entirely sure which). The view where the river meets the ocean is simply amazing. The people are warm and lively, making the whole experience unforgettable. Falmouth is not only super picturesque, lively and full of nice little restaurants, it’s also very walkable. Seafront promenade is a lively walk and you can make it as long or short as you fancy. You can start from Pendenis Castle parking or any place along the way towards Gylly beach. You will be surrounded by surprisingly tropical plants and little cafes and trucks will keep you fed. Views are wonderful and you can walk down to the beach in few places as well depending on the tides #beachlife

Booked here for my parents 30th anniversary. Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean with complimentary teas, coffee, water and cookies. My parents were welcomed with complimentary elderflower/lemonade as neither of them drink and the staff wrote a congratulatory card which was very sweet. We planned a trip to Trebah garden on the second day. The lady at the reception was very helpful in providing a taxi for us the night before. Slight downside was there was limited channels on the TV. For the price of the room, we were expecting at least freeview. There was no air con but we were provided with a fan. On our last day, there seemed to be a booking issue over breakfast but the staff handled it well. But other than that, it has been very good. Warning though, the hotel is like a maze haha. A shoutout to the cleaning staff who were also all very friendly and made sure to say good morning to us whenever we cross paths. #Greenbankhotel
