Enshi City is such a surprise to us. We didn't really expect much but lo and behold there are gems in this city. The city has a massive river in the middle of it and we went to Enshi Grand Canyon. What an adventure going there. We enjoyed walking around the city and what an adventure it was climbing up and down of the grand canyon.
‼️TIPS
1. Carry a raincoat with you becasue once you're in the canyon the weather might change to misty and foggy.
2. Wear comfortable walking shoes
3. Do not carry heavy bags.

Business hours and package information: The business hours of Enshi Grand Canyon are 08:00-16:00. It provides a package including tickets, cable cars, small trains and downhill escalators, which is very convenient. Remember to bring your ID card, because all projects require ID card swiping.
Scenic area composition and best travel route: The scenic area is composed of Qixingzhai and Yunlong Difeng, with a total length of 108 kilometers, about 20,000 steps. The best travel route is to start from the visitor center, take the small train and cable car in turn, visit the Qixingzhai scenic spot, then take the downhill escalator to the Yunlong Difeng scenic spot, and finally take the sightseeing elevator back to the visitor center.
Precautions for play: Facing the small train, the carriage on the far right is the head of the train. Be sure to grab the best viewing point in front of the glass. It is recommended to play Qixingzhai first, because the whole journey is long, there are many steps, and it is suitable for mountaineering enthusiasts. Try not to carry too heavy food and water. Yunlong Difeng Scenic Area has a waterfall with sufficient water vapor. The main steps are down, which is not so tired, but there are very few replenishment points. 📆Itinerary
Day 1: Luyuanping
8:40🚄 Arrived at Enshi Station, contacted the pre-booked car driver (500 for a day), and drove to Luyuanping. Around 10 o'clock, we passed a tea garden, where we stopped to take some photos. At 10:40, we continued our journey. It started to ☔ on the way, and the rain got heavier as we went deeper into the mountains. We were worried about whether we could reach our destination smoothly. Fortunately, the rain gradually subsided, and we arrived at Luyuanping around noon.
⛰️Surrounded by high mountains, we took the world's longest inclined elevator to reach this last primitive village without road access. It felt like we had stumbled into a paradise, deeply captivated by the scenery here. There are various hiking trails and natural waterfalls, with the most notable being the Xuanlu Rift, formed 250 million years ago‼️. Its extraordinary beauty is a testament to the wonders of nature.
16:30 We left the scenic area, and the driver took us to the guesthouse. We had dinner at the guesthouse's restaurant, but the taste was very average and not recommended.
Day 2: Enshi Grand Canyon
We had breakfast at the guesthouse. To avoid the crowds, we arrived at the scenic area around 8 o'clock.
▲Enshi Grand Canyon has two main areas: Qixingzhai and Yunlong Rift. Qixingzhai is on the mountain and requires hiking, featuring cliffside walkways, peculiar rocks, and spectacular views of peak forests and sea of clouds. Yunlong Rift is at the foot of the mountain, relatively flat, showcasing canyon waterfalls and river rifts, and is also known as the "most beautiful scar on Earth." Since we had seen the Xuanlu Rift the previous day, we only visited Qixingzhai today, focusing on hiking.

This itinerary is suitable for those who are not in great physical condition, but it is relatively expensive. Those in good physical condition can choose to hike up the mountain.
Since we only visited Qixingzhai today, we leisurely strolled until 3 PM before leaving. There were many food options on the mountain; the small potatoes and large sausages were delicious, but the cold noodles were average. At 15:30, we took the bus back to Enshi city, which took about 1.5 hours. We had dinner in the city and happily ended this trip.

Perfect location and room
Main reason that i picked this hotel is location where is really close to not only railway station but also bus terminal heading for each tourist attraction such as Enshi perfeture (恩施大峡谷）， Suobuya stone moutin(梭布呀石林）. It's my firet time to stay at Ramada hotel in China as I normally stayed in other global hotel chains such as Marriott and Hilton, experience here was great enough.
