Shenzhen maybe famous for its brand new malls and high end stores, but if your better doesn’t stretch to that ( like mine) you should head to Dongmen. Located in Louhu it’s one of the oldest shopping districts in the city and caters a lot more to locals, so prices are a lot lower and there’s a lot more choice than the malls. Dongmen has amazing local clothes and shoe shops, particularly good for low price basics - stock up on all your smalls. I also love it for the homewares and basic cleaning essentials, a great place to stock up your pantry! Be Spoilt for choice for food in Shenzhen, overall not costly but super filling, fast food joints everywhere, lots of cafes with drinks, the roasted goose is not to be missed, and of coz the every favourite shui zhu yu, fish slices cooked in a mala broth, bbq skewers are everywhere! must try also local favourite is the coconut chicken hotpot! n beef hotpots!! KFC n MCD are unique there with their own stylez!!

This place has a lot going on here. You name it, they most likely will have it here. It doesn't open only at night, but at night time is when it shines the most with all the lights are up and a lot more people around. There are a lot of live stream performers by the Mcdonald area, and it is very entertaining for anyone to watch them perform without being hassled for money, which is really nice. Food and shopping here is the main attraction. Food and clothes in every direction. Malls and massages everywhere. KTV, super large arcade. This place is made for all ages. You can get all many things here for a very fair price, or some might say very cheap. Anyone can spend a full day around this area

This mall in Dongmen is suitable for the younger generation to play and do extreme sports. It is 4 stories high and you have to walk up one level at a time. It is very exciting and thrilling. At the end you can also go down the slide at a fast speed. You can play for two hours and when you are tired you can go to Dongmen to eat.
