Cattle and sheep graze in herds, horses gallop, the sky is clear, and the clouds seem to be within reach. 🚗 Itinerary: Day 1: Chengdu - Taoping Qiang Village - Emetang - Moon Bay - Hongyuan County 👒 Depart from Chengdu in the morning. If you want to experience Qiang culture, you can get off the highway at Taoping Qiang Village, take a stroll, and have lunch before setting off again. It is said that the Emetang Flower Sea is now closed. We didn't go there, and the tickets are expensive. You can see many flowers along the way. Then, go to Moon Bay to see the panoramic view of the prairie. Stay overnight in Hongyuan County. Day 2: Hongyuan County - Zoige Prairie - First Bend of the Yellow River - Flower Sea - Zoige County 🌳 📍 Zoige Prairie: The largest prairie in Sichuan Province. The terrain is flat, and in summer, the prairie is covered with green grass and colorful flowers. Cattle and sheep graze in herds, and you can hear the melodious pastoral songs. You can also see marmots and various birds in the Flower Sea. It is a great place to take photos. 📍 First Bend of the Yellow River: Located in the southwest of Zoige County, it is the boundary river between Sichuan and Gansu. Here, you can enjoy the winding Yellow River and the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river. 📍 Flower Lake: Located in the northwest of Zoige County, it is a treasure on the Zoige Prairie. The lake is wide, and the water is clear. In summer, wildflowers bloom on the lakeside, which is very beautiful. Day 3: Zoige County - Chuanzhusi - Songpan Ancient Town - Chengdu 🍁 Go to Chuanzhusi to experience the cultural atmosphere of Tibetan Buddhism. If you want to go to Jiuzhai, you can go directly to Jiuzhai for a day. 🌸 Food Recommendations: Butter tea, highland barley wine, and yak meat. You must try the yak meat hot pot. It is the black pearl of the prairie. The yak meat is unique to the plateau, and it is delicious. It is a local specialty and is very cheap. 🌸 Accommodation Recommendations: There are many newly built hotels and inns in Zoige County. They are well-equipped, clean, and hygienic. We recommend staying in a new hotel. 🏨 There are few new hotels in Hongyuan, so it is best to book in advance. Most of the old hotels are average. There are some tent camps on the prairie, where you can experience the night on the prairie.
