I decided to let myself and my child go, and took him to Zhuji Five Waterfalls Scenic Area for a peaceful trip! It takes one and a half hours from Yiwu to reach Wupu Scenic Area. I have always heard about Wupu but this is my first time to visit! The two little guys are very excited! This time, we chose the Yaojia Zen Hotel in the scenic area! Because you can get free tickets, boat tickets and battery car tickets! Hahaha, the scenic area has two gates, north and south. You can enter by boat from the South gate, and climb the mountain from the North gate. If we drive with our two kids, we will definitely choose the South Gate! Enter from the south gate and take the long elevator! It's just a short walk to the pier, with buses running every half an hour. After taking a boat across the Wupu Reservoir and getting ashore, you can take an electric car (5 yuan per person for a one-way trip), or you can pass through the more than 40-year-old Metasequoia forest and large lawn, walk along the water to reach the Wupu Zen Temple. We chose to take the electric car to arrive, and the scenery along the way was so beautiful! Opposite the Wupu Zen Temple is the hotel where we will stay today! After checking in, let’s go hiking! Starting from Wupu Zen Temple, there are two ways to go: Walking behind the Zen temple is Dongyuan Waterfall. From Waterfall 5 to Waterfall 1, follow the waterfalls step by step and finally reach the top of the mountain. You can return the same way, or go around to Xiyuan Canyon and go down; If you walk to the left side of the Zen temple, you will reach Xiyuan Canyon. There is basically no climbing until you reach the end of the canyon. If you climb up to the end, you will reach the red maple forest, and then there are waterfalls 1-5 going down little by little. Xiyuan Canyon is also along the water, and many children are playing here with water guns and fishing nets! We took our two kids to climb the mountain from the fifth waterfall to the second waterfall. The two little ones were quite good. They didn't take a break during the whole process. People who passed by praised them for being good. After climbing to the second waterfall, we went back down the mountain to the B&B to rest! This hotel is really great. We stayed in the private hot spring villa, which was a very comfortable one-bedroom apartment! The room is fully equipped with smart home facilities. There is a tea set on the table so you can drink tea while enjoying the scenery, and there is also the Heart Sutra you can copy! Cultivate your body and mind, the hotel is full of Zen elements, the quietness is really comfortable! When you wake up in the morning and open the door, you can hear all kinds of birds singing. The children like it too, it's very healing! We had all our meals in the hotel. Breakfast was buffet style and dinner was self-ordered. I didn’t expect the prices to be so affordable and the taste was so good! The two kids had so much fun that they didn’t want to go back! Sitting on the boat back home, I kept saying, "I'll come back next time."
