Choose a day with good weather, mainly when the waves are small, otherwise you might get seasick on the boat. Select first-class seats on the second floor for much better comfort. 👍️Must-visit spots: The island isn't very big and can be explored in a day. You can walk the coastal road, but avoid carrying heavy items or you'll struggle to complete it. Remember sun protection. There are no supplies along the way, so bring enough water and food. The Mining Lake you'll pass has surprisingly beautiful emerald green water. In the evening, you can buy seafood and find a restaurant to cook it for you. 🎟️Tickets: Mainly just the ferry ticket. 💗Other tips: Accommodation is mostly guesthouses. Don't believe claims of "beachfront views" - most guesthouses are far from the sea, so cleanliness should be your priority. The only true beachfront hotel is the Xiangsi Ridge Seaview Villa Hotel, with genuine oceanfront views, but unfortunately the hotel is very old with a musty smell when you enter (though it improves once the air conditioning is on). The cleanliness is also poor, and the breakfast is the worst part. I recommend staying one night to have enough time. A day trip would be quite rushed.
