🚗 After the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage, I saw many updates about Zhongshan. As a Guangdong native, I had never been to Zhongshan before! Wherever we go, we always want to visit museums. After eating roast pigeon, we went to the Zhongshan Museum 🛵 📍 Location: Zhongshan Museum (No. 197, Sunwen Middle Road, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province) 🎫 Tickets: 🆓 Free, no reservation required!! 🅿️ Parking: Parking spaces at Zhongshan Museum are tight on weekends. We parked at the underground parking lot of Xingzhong Plaza and then took a taxi to Zhongshan Museum. If you have enough time, you can also walk there! 🕘 Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00—17:00 (last entry at 16:30), closed on Mondays (for reference only). When we went, due to the large number of visitors, the museum changed the last entry time to 17:30. ▪️ The Zhongshan Museum Complex Project is an important cultural facility construction project in Zhongshan City. It includes the new Zhongshan Museum, Zhongshan Radio Museum, and the former sites of Qiaoli Zhongshan Public Hospital, Zheng Zao Ru's former residence, and the former site of the CCP Zhongshan County Committee 139 Guesthouse. The main building has two underground floors and three above-ground floors, housing the Zhongshan History Exhibition Hall, Zhongshan Overseas Chinese History Museum, temporary exhibition halls, social education activity center, and visitor service center. ✨ Basic Exhibition - "Zhongshan Historical Relics Exhibition". Special Exhibitions - "Gifts from the State Council of the People's Republic of China", "Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Historical Relics Collection Exhibition", "Zhongshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition". 🧸 There are more people during the summer vacation, especially on weekends. It is recommended to visit during off-peak times to better appreciate the relics. The venue is thoughtfully arranged, and we couldn't stop exclaiming in amazement after entering. There are rest areas and restrooms on every floor. Opposite the museum is the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, which you can also visit if you have time!
