Meet Huangguoshu Waterfall

Huangguoshu Waterfall, a "natural karst waterfall museum," comprises 18 waterfalls, stretching over a 20-kilometer stretch, boasting nine drops, 51 cascades, and 71 dams. From afar, the Baishui River resembles a silver dragon tumbling and leaping through the karst peaks and forests. The historical Huangguoshu Waterfall, as described by the renowned poet Li Bai, "plumes cascade three thousand feet." In Xu Xiake's travelogue, it's described as "pearls pounding jade, spray surging back and forth." This yearning inspired a silent wish to witness it in person someday. Finally, in September 2025, that wish came true. I'll never forget the moment approaching the waterfall. "The roaring sound, like a thousand drums beating," truly left me speechless by the wonders of nature. Gazing up at the waterfall cascading down from dozens of meters above, the mist stirred up by the water interacted with the sunlight, creating a rainbow—a breathtaking sight that leaves me speechless. The moment the mist hit my face, my body, mind, and spirit were instantly cleansed. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the only waterfall in the world where you can traverse a 360-degree angle. The Water Curtain Cave (approximately 134 meters long) behind the waterfall features six windows that act as natural frames, allowing you to watch the water cascade through the cracks in the rock.
