Zhenjiang 2-Day Tour || A week later, I finally have time to write last week's journal... I went to Zhenjiang last weekend and visited the Three Mountains and One Ferry. On the first day, I went to Jinshan Temple, Zhenjiang Museum, and Xijin Ferry. On the second day, I went to Beigu Mountain and Jiaoshan Mountain. I didn't know Zhenjiang was such a historical city until I visited. It's best to have a tour guide explain the attractions, such as the Stele Forest on Jiaoshan Mountain. Calligraphy lovers shouldn't miss it. It's the third largest in China. There's a stele that is suspected to have been written by Wang Xizhi. It seems that it fell and soaked in water for 300 years before being salvaged in the Qing Dynasty... It's interesting to hear the tour guide tell the story. Xijin Ferry is more fun than I imagined. You can climb up to see the panoramic view. The prices in Zhenjiang are quite low, and even the restaurants at Xijin Ferry are not expensive. The only downside of Zhenjiang is the stray dogs on the road. They run around on the road, and no one takes care of them. Sigh...
