Checked in at Sheraton Grand Zhengzhou Hotel

After a 21-hour special forces journey, it was a hasty arrival and departure. This time I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Zhengzhou Hotel, which consistently maintains the Sheraton brand's standard. ✅ The hotel is conveniently located for transfers to and from the airport and high-speed railway station, about thirty minutes to the airport without much traffic congestion. There is a commercial center, Shangzuo Center, near the hotel where you can eat, which is quite convenient. Of course, if you just want to stroll around the area, there's not much to see, after all, it's the same concrete jungle of the city. ✅ The room was upgraded, although I never really feel the difference between an executive room and a regular room However, one good point was that the hotel proactively contacted me on the day of arrival to ask whether I wanted a king bed or twin beds, as my reservation only had the twin bed option, so naturally, I had them change it to twin beds. ✅ Another thing is the small welcome gift from the hotel, quite magical, a jar of soft candy, a jar of cookies, and a small bottle of red wine. They also offered a minibar, but the VOSS sparkling water was really hard to drink ✅ I've noticed that in places with strong local food characteristics, the breakfast often includes tasty local specialties. The breakfast included lamb sha soup, which is also a Henan specialty. The taste is very similar to Shandong's, but it's darker sha, while Shandong's is white sha. The breakfast also had fresh-squeezed juices, with a good variety, which is commendable.
