It is 120 km from Guangzhou to Zhaoqing. There was a traffic jam when leaving the city. Fortunately, we left a little late, otherwise we would have been stuck on the road. We passed the north gate of the Seven Star Crags Scenic Area and went to the west gate as suggested by the guide. Later, we found that it was unnecessary, as we had to visit all the attractions no matter which gate we entered. There were only two lanes to the west gate, and many large trucks were parked there for no reason, so we were stuck for a while on the way there and back. When we were about to reach the Seven Star Crags Scenic Area, we found a separate attraction, Xianzhang Crag, which is one of the Seven Star Crags but is outside the scenic area. We had already passed it, but there were no cars behind us, so we turned back to park and visit. The crag is not high, only over 100 meters, which should be a piece of cake for me. However, I didn't expect that my calves would be sore after walking a few steps up the stairs, so I had to slow down. I was sweating and panting, and it took me over 100 meters to reach the top, where there was only a Lingxiao Palace. The plaque from that year was on the ground, which looked quite old. The Lingxiao Palace should have been built later. The staff was busy burning incense, but I didn't listen, take photos, or worship, and immediately turned around and went down the mountain. The west gate was not far away by car. We parked and scanned the code to enter the park. There was a recommended route at the entrance, so we took a photo and followed the map to visit. After crossing the Yan Yu Bridge, the Iron Chain Bridge, and the Fish Pond, we arrived at the Tianzhu Crag, the highest point of the scenic area, which required a lot of effort to climb. Compared with just now, my legs were no longer sore and I had strength, so I didn't stop and climbed step by step. It seemed that I could reach the top in just a quarter of an hour. The highest point is the Zhaixing Pavilion, where you can see white clouds and feel the breeze. Looking back at the foot of the mountain, you can see the endless green waves and poetic paintings, and the green mountains standing like high towers. On the way down the mountain, we passed the Wenchang Palace, where we only saw the plaque but not the palace.
