Take a walk when you're in a good mood. It is said that there were originally 74 maar lakes in the world, but currently only 9 of them contain water, and Lake Guangyan is one of them. It has been formed for over a hundred thousand years and is a national geological park, as well as a world geological park. Seeing it today, the water is indeed crystal clear, the environment is beautiful, the greenery is lush, and the climate is cool, making it a great summer retreat! The park's entrance fee is 50 yuan for adults and 15 yuan per person for those under 14 years old. Inside the park, there are sightseeing tour vehicles, costing 20 yuan for adults and 10 yuan for children under 1.4 meters. There are temples and hotels, although the hotels look rather old and I did not go inside. I recommend visiting the Zhanjiang Museum, which, although not large, is housed in a building from the 1960s. The exhibits allow younger generations to understand the revolutionary history of our two Guang regions and to recognize the historical culture of the Yue-Gui area. Admission to the museum is free, and in the backyard, there is a fine display of bonsai art by Master Li Shisong. Some of the bonsai have been maintained for decades and are truly impressive!
