Standing at the edge of Zhangjiajie’s towering sandstone pillars, it hit me — this place doesn’t feel real. We took the VIP route: gliding up on the Bailong Elevator, riding the scenic train through Ten Mile Gallery, and floating over the peaks in the Tianzishan Cable Car.
