Echigo Yuzawa's long-established hot spring hotel - Echigo Futaba Hot Spring Hotel

At the end of the year, our family was eager to relax and have fun in Echigo Yuzawa. Hot springs and dining options were top priorities when choosing a hotel! Futaba Onsen Hotel is conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk from Yuzawa Station. You can also book a hotel shuttle, saving time and hassle. We didn't use the shuttle service upon arrival, and our family quickly arrived at the hotel while strolling through the exciting hot spring town. The hotel's facade is elegant, with plenty of guests' ski gear parked right by the entrance! After checking in, you can choose your favorite yukata on the first floor, which was a delight for the children, who were staying at a hot spring hotel for the first time. The room was a traditional tatami-mat Japanese-style room, and the kotatsu (kotatsu) was filled with the hotel's specially selected local snacks, allowing tired travelers to relax and enjoy some after settling in. If you're enjoying your favorite treats, the souvenir shop on the first floor also sells larger packages. The window of our room overlooks the snowy landscape, and waking up and falling asleep to it every day is truly a unique experience! Most guests probably come here for the skiing trip. After a long day of exertion, returning to the hotel for a delicious meal and then soaking in the hot springs in the evening is truly relaxing. I'm so glad I chose the breakfast and dinner package. After a tiring day, I really didn't want to go out to the hot springs town for a meal, so being able to eat at the hotel was the most convenient! The hotel also provides simple snow play equipment for children to borrow. After borrowing a few tools from the hotel, the children had a blast playing in the snowy open spaces along the streets of Yuzawa! #Skiing#Snowscape#Hot Springs
