Mount Chokai Omonokimi Shrine is the Ichinomiya of Dewa Province, located in Yamagata Prefecture. There are three shrines in total: the main shrine at the summit of Mount Chokai, and Warabioka and Fukiura in the Satomiya. Fukiuraguchinomiya, one of the Satomiya shrines, has two main shrines behind its worship hall. On the left are Gassan Shrine, which enshrines Gassan-no-kami, and Fukiurano-Kuchinomiya, which enshrines Omonokimi-no-kami. These two shrines are known as Ryosho-miya! The vibrant vermilion-painted main shrine and the worship hall with its solemn atmosphere.
