Deep in the misty Siming Mountain, on a high mountain terrace at an altitude of 600 meters, a pure white building complex stands like an isolated acropolis, quietly overlooking the rolling green mountains and the 800-year-old Shilin Ancient Village—this is "Da Le Zhi Ye · Gu She." It is located in Shilin Village, Dalan Town, Yuyao City, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, gently embraced by valleys and cherry blossom forests, resembling a white castle floating in the air. The architecture is built on the concept of an "acropolis," creating a space that is both open and enclosed. Four pure white buildings—Green Bamboo, Red Maple, Green Persimmon, and White Cherry—are staggered along the mountain terrain, with names inspired by the unique plants of Siming Mountain. The overall style is minimalist, with large floor-to-ceiling glass windows seamlessly bringing the mountain scenery indoors. Galvanized corrugated panels, terrazzo, bamboo strips, and brass details collide, creating a subtle balance between the cold metallic texture and the warm wood, echoing the purity and strength of the high mountain environment. Gu She has a total of 22 guest rooms distributed across the four buildings. The interior design is extremely restrained, mainly using natural wood and cotton-linen materials, paired with industrial-style lighting to create a quiet and warm atmosphere. Some rooms cleverly incorporate playful elements like slides and swings, awakening childhood memories. Facilities include high-end bedding, air conditioning, LCD TVs, custom fragrance toiletries, and tea sets, all exuding quality. The restaurant, named "Ye You Shi," features an industrial style. The first floor is a panoramic glass dining area, and the second floor has private rooms. Ingredients are mostly sourced locally and seasonally, from Siming Mountain’s bamboo shoots and persimmons to farm-raised chickens, with simple yet exquisitely delicious cooking methods. In the afternoon, you can enjoy hand-brewed coffee at "Ye You Ka," sitting on the outdoor terrace watching the clouds roll by.
