Wenhai Village & Wenhai Lake Address - Higher up near Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Highlights - Hidden alpine valley with seasonal lake views and a Naxi minority village. Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re into hiking, nature, or cultural stays, this is a gem. No tourist shops — just you, the mountains, and maybe a yak. Yuhu Village (Joseph Rock’s House) Address - At the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Highlights - Home of Austrian-American explorer Joseph Rock, with a small museum and local life still happening all around. Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mix of history and mountain village calm. Great biking route from Shuhe or Baisha. Qingxi Reservoir Address - Northeast of the Old Town, hidden away Highlights - Locals go here to chill, not tourists. Clear water, ducks, and zero noise.
