Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

#hellohalloween Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is located in Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, just about 15 km north of Lijiang Old Town in Yunnan Province. The highest peak of the range is Shanzidou (扇子陡) at approximately 5,596 m (18,360 ft) above sea level. The massif features 13 snow‑capped peaks stretching along the ridge, which from afar resemble a jade dragon lying across the clouds — hence the name “Jade Dragon”. It forms part of the broader Yulong Mountains, and lies at the southern edge of the Hengduan Mountains region. Striking scenery & snow presence: Because of its elevation and position, the peaks remain snow‑covered for much of the year, providing dramatic contrast with the lower subtropical valley.
