A Quiet Ride in Yuhu Village, Lijiang (Spring edition)

One of my favorite moments in Lijiang was a peaceful horseback ride through Yuhu Village, a quiet Naxi village nestled at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain. The ride was slow and serene. My horse moved gently along dirt paths lined with stone houses, fields, and grazing animals. In the distance, the snow-capped peaks of Yulong Mountain rose into the sky—majestic and still. The air was cool and crisp, filled with the scent of pine and mountain soil. There was no noise, no rush—just me, the horse, and the mountain. It felt like time had slowed down.
