✨ 9 Days of Yunnan Magic | 1–9 June 🇨🇳🌿❄️Kunming · Dali · Xizhou · Lijiang · Jade Dragon Snow Mou

📍Day 1 – Kunming | 城市初印象 Our journey began in Kunming, the "City of Eternal Spring." A relaxed day exploring charming old streets, soaking in local vibes, and preparing ourselves (and the kids!) for the adventure ahead. Simple strolls, warm noodles, and street laughter to kick things off. 🚄 Day 2 – Train to Dali | 穿越时光小镇 A scenic train ride brought us to Dali, where ancient town walls meet peaceful Erhai Lake. The air was cooler, the rhythm slower. We wandered through cobbled alleys, sipped local teas, and watched kids play freely under the red lanterns. 🏞️ Day 3 – Xizhou Village | 田园牧歌的一天 A beautiful day trip to Xizhou, home of Bai minority culture and well-preserved heritage houses. Quiet, rustic, and soulful. Slow living at its best. 🌧️ Day 4 – Lijiang (Rainy Day) | 雨中丽江别样美 Arrived in Lijiang, met by soft rain that added poetry to the UNESCO old town. Slippery stones couldn’t stop the kids from laughing, and lantern reflections shimmered in the puddles. A cozy hotpot dinner wrapped the night. 🏔️ Day 5 – Jade Dragon Snow Mountain | 挑战雪山，我们成功了！ This was the day we worried about the most—altitude, cold, and the long climb. But the skies cleared, and spirits lifted. We reached the peak together—yes, even Grandpa and the little ones made it! Breathing was slow, but our hearts were full. Thank you, weather gods! 🙏❄️ 🕌 Day 6 – Shangri-La | 转角遇见香格里拉 A land that feels like a dream—Shangri-La welcomed us with yak herds, prayer flags, and majestic Tibetan monasteries. It was just a day, but its peace lingered long after. 🚆 Day 7–8 – Train back to Kunming | 回味无穷的尾声 The train home was filled with shared stories and sleepy heads. Two more days in Kunming gave us time to shop, snack, and relive moments before flying home. ✈️ Day 9 – Homebound | 心已满，回家咯！ Back to KL—tired, fulfilled, grateful. This Yunnan trip reminded us that travel is not about the pace, but about the people who journey with you. And sometimes, even the snow-capped mountains make space for a family's love to shine through.
