Review of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang is a must-visit 5A-level destination that truly lives up to its reputation! Before going, I read many reviews, and some people couldn’t make it to the top due to heavy snow or rain. I prayed hard and checked the weather forecast daily. Finally, on the day I went, I managed to take the cable car up to the top! 💗🌳 ❄️ Stunning and exactly as advertised! Nature deserves a 10000/10 rating, especially the "Impression of Lijiang" show. The backdrop of the snow-capped mountain made the performance even more impactful! During the show, the weather was unpredictable—light rain at times, and then sunny and hot—but my heart was full of joy. ‼️ Worried about altitude sickness? I underestimated myself and thought I’d be fine. Plus, I only slept for 3 hours the night before. I almost passed out at the top! Avoid sudden movements like walking or bending down quickly. After bending down too fast, I felt dizzy, faint, and nauseous. I had to quickly find a seat and use an oxygen canister. I also brought chocolate to eat, which helped. Once I felt better, I hurried back down. (Essential items to bring: oxygen canister, inhaler, sweet drinks, water, chocolate, and candy.) ✨ For our Lijiang trip, we traveled independently without joining a tour. However, for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, we opted for a one-day tour organized by a Thai guide named Ji, who lives in Lijiang. It was a group tour with round-trip transportation included.
