I stayed at Yufuin Lamp no Yado. It is run with a Japanese modern theme, and the guest rooms and open-air baths are scattered throughout a traditional Japanese building. This inn does not have a large public bath, but there are several private baths and you can check the real-time availability information by scanning a QR code. There are also several pet cats at the inn, and they are so attached to people that they will naturally sit on your lap when you are relaxing in the courtyard. I think this is an irresistible environment for cat lovers. They do not provide breakfast or dinner, but you can use the kitchen, so I bought some ingredients at the nearby MaxValu and cooked a simple meal for dinner.
