Yuen Long's old South Asian flavor——Shek Kong Curry House🇵🇰🇮🇳

This is the Indian restaurant I grew up eating at (as far as I understand the owner seems to be Pakistani), I haven't been to Shek Kong Curry House since it moved from Youxin Street to its new shop now located on Main Road. Because I usually go to the Pong Lai Curry House on An Ning Road. This time a group of four had two business lunches, one lunch and one student lunch. 1️⃣ Chicken soup The texture of this soup is a little like horseradish syrup, with egg flower green beans, the taste is like a European Tang meal, personally do not like. 2️⃣Vegetable curry corner🥟🥠 This was quite good, the curry was spicy enough to be addictive, and the crust was quite crispy. The sauce that came with it was also very fragrant, but it didn't feel hot enough. It would be nice if it could be hotter. 3️⃣Beef and lamb curry🥘🥘 I'm not South Asian, so I can't comment on whether it's authentic or not. I can only say that the curry here is flavorful and fragrant enough. However, compared to other curries I've had, the curry here is greasy and basically a mouthful of oil, which people who are losing weight may not like it. 4️⃣ Grilled five spice fish curry, iron plate grilled chicken 🥘 My favorite Indian food. The oil content is well controlled here, and you don’t have a whole plate of oil left on it after you finish eating like other restaurants. 5️⃣ Served with Indian rice, original and garlic pizza 🍕 It's worth mentioning here, most restaurants can only choose one or the other, but here it's rice and pizza all served. 6️⃣ The portion of drinks is quite plentiful, tea and lemon beautiful🍋 Service 💁🏽‍♀️💁🏾 Not bad. Halfway through asking to change the table did not show us face. Dining environment I think the old shop will have more atmosphere, the new shop is quite spacious here. Maybe after the lifting of the ban on epidemic prevention, there will be more tables and chairs Restaurant positioning From a lunch perspective, it's quite affordable 👍🏼 Business lunch $68.
