Chenzhou Mangshan | A mountain with an elevator

We visited the east gate of Mangshan in the summer vacation. We chose the west gate of Mangshan in the winter vacation. We visited on January 20, 2025. The weather was warm, and there was no snow, but the scenery was very pleasant. It was worth a visit. Mangshan in person 🌟Highlights: 1. Mangshan West Gate Scenic Area: Details of the internal attractions of Mangshan National Forest Park, including General's Village, Tiantai Mountain, Monkey King Village, and the museum. 2. Mangshan East Gate Scenic Area: Panoramic view of the interior of Wuzhi Peak, including the cable car, sightseeing elevator, aerial walkway, canyon restaurant, and Golden Whip Pillar. 🗓Itinerary: If you like climbing, the west gate has more diverse scenery. ❤Recommended reason: Tiantai Mountain, General's Village, and Mangshan Forest Hot Spring Hotel are all here! If you don't like climbing or are traveling with the elderly or children, the east gate is more suitable. ❤Recommended reason: There is a cable car that goes directly to the aerial walkway at the top of the mountain! 📝Tips: 1. We bought tickets online in advance. Children don't need tickets. We drove there. If you buy tickets in advance, you can quickly pass the first checkpoint and drive directly to the Tiantai Mountain Cloud Ladder parking lot. If it is the peak season, there may be no parking spaces, and you can only listen to the roadside on the mountain, which is a test of driving skills. 2. Buy tickets for the escalator at the Tiantai Cloud Elevator Station. Adults: 36, children: 18. 3. The temperature difference between the mountain and the foot of the mountain is large, so it is recommended to wear more clothes. 4. Wear a pair of comfortable non-slip hiking shoes. 5. There is not much food on the mountain, so it is recommended to bring your own food. We brought a self-heating pot, which is very convenient. This trip was very pleasant.
