I recently spent a vacation at a newly opened hot spring hotel in Jiaoxi, the Yamagata Kaku Hotel & Spa. I was healed by the green fields of Yilan, and fell into a deep sleep as soon as I went to bed while soaking in the hot spring while watching the night view. Yamagata Kaku Hotel & Spa is right next to Jiaoxi Railway Station, with very convenient transportation, so you can explore Yilan and Luodong nearby. If you take the bus from Taipei to Jiaoxi like I did, it takes about 5 minutes to walk from the transfer station. After walking along the wooden plank road and crossing the road, you will see a "mountain"-shaped sign when you look up, indicating that you have reached your destination. The hotel lobby is elegantly decorated, the colors tell you that this is a relaxing hot spring hotel, and the atmosphere gives a warm feeling. This time we stayed in a "Standard Twin Room" and the sofa by the window looked so attractive. It is a great place to sit and enjoy the scenery while trying some Yilan specialty snacks prepared on the table. A teacup set with a very stylish design, it must be very elegant to use for drinking tea. Many details in the room are very thoughtful, such as the green light that turns on when the "beep" room card is pressed, and the cloth covering the door, which looks very textured. The air-conditioning control panel is specially covered with black tape so that there will be no additional light source disturbing you when you sleep at night. The TV even has NETFLEX, so if you have an account you can watch TV series. The room provides a safe, electronic scale and stylish indoor slippers. In addition to hanging clothes, open hangers also provide plenty of space for luggage and miscellaneous items. The entire marble bathroom is luxurious and the amenities are very exquisite. The most anticipated thing is definitely this private hot spring! Be sure to enjoy it slowly at night. The marble countertop continues through the glass into the shower room, creating a unique and impressive design. This environmentally friendly brand from New Zealand is used in the room. The products are made of natural ingredients and are very comfortable to use. The wooden boxes of the supplies are very textured, and there is no shortage of drinks in the room. In addition to ample bottled water, soda and beer in the refrigerator are also provided free of charge. I like to take a hot spring bath in the room and go to bed immediately after. This is how I enjoy life. The day we checked in happened to be a weekend, and the hotel held various activities, such as DIY craft experience and tarot divination, all of which were free to participate. Although there is a hot spring in the room, if you think it is not big enough, don't want to run the water yourself, or want a sauna, you have to go to the public hot spring on the second floor. This floor is divided into male and female nude baths, which can be used free of charge by all guests staying in the hotel.
