Qin Shihuang once traveled here in his eastward journey, and many men of letters and poets, such as Su Shi, also traveled here and left behind popular poems. What impressed me most were the inscriptions and plaques here, such as Su Shi's lying stele, Tie Baoti's "Penglai Pavilion" plaque, Feng Yuxiang's "Blue Sea and Red Heart", Chen Ji's "Blessing" and "Longevity", etc. In short, Penglai Pavilion not only has unique natural scenery but also has very rich cultural resources.
