Hello treasures, the Qingming holiday is over, and today I am excited to recommend a great destination around Nanjing for tourism—Gaoyou!!! Let's talk about the three essentials of travel—great guide! good friends! and a great place! Thanks to the most reliable Mr. Qiu and his good friend for taking me and my best sister Suanrong to have fun , this has been the best travel experience I've had since 2024. Gaoyou is really a nice place, with flower seas and lakes, very suitable for spring outings and photography, and you can basically check in at all the attractions in one day, offering great value for money 1️⃣ Fuchun Tea House As everyone knows, Yangzhou's morning tea is famous, and you can have a lovely morning tea at Fuchun. We ordered San Ding Bao, crab meat steamed dumplings, Da Zhu Gan Si, silverfish stewed egg, and Yangchun noodles, and we all agreed they were super delicious. According to the locals, this particular taste of Yangchun noodles can only be found in Gaoyou, so don't miss it if you pass by. 2️⃣ Gaoyou Lake Flower Sea The entrance fee to the park is 50r/person, and if you don't want to walk, you can take a small train (20r/person) to the tulip fields, and return by boat (20r/person). Sunshine, blue sky, and a sea of flowers are the best filters, wearing a little dress and sunglasses really makes for great photos. 3️⃣ Wang Zengqi Memorial Hall When I was in school, I read Wang Zengqi's essays every day, and my high school roommate even bought a collection of his essays to memorize for the college entrance exam composition. It's a must to visit the hometown of Mr. Wang to feel the atmosphere of humanities and arts, to receive the baptism of knowledge, and to soothe the restless soul. Additionally, there are many authentic local snacks near the Wang Zengqi Memorial Hall, with many people queuing up to buy Pubao meat and fried stinky tofu. A friend bought some Pubao meat for us to try, with shredded white radish wrapped around big meatballs, a delight for meat lovers , and there's also a street of local vegetable restaurants nearby, bringing a strong sense of the world's hustle and bustle, who understands, I really like the slow pace of life in small towns. 4️⃣ Grand Canal of China · Gaoyou Ming and Qing Dynasties Canal Old Path Locals simply call it 'Er Qiao', a friend said it's a favorite spot for cool kids and couples, and it's a surprise once you visit. If I were a local, I would come here every day. Why didn't anyone tell me that the canal looks as big as the sea? People from Jiangsu have their own 'inner sea', satisfying my wish to see the seaside sunset this year. A local friend said we were super lucky to have encountered the rare sunset glow, please see the beautiful photos!
