The romance of the snow-covered East Sea comes true โ„๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿค

After the recent heavy snowfall in Gangwon-do, I visited Yangyang #Jeongam Beach that made me stop on my way It's a pebble beach, not sand, so the snow didn't melt, so I was lucky enough to see the snowy scenery + the sea! I rode a swing while looking at the sea, and made a wish on a stone tower ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป I took pictures at an exotic photo zone I recommend it as a place to stop by lightly when traveling to Yangyangโœจ ๐Ÿ“Yangyang Jeongam Beach #Jeongam Beach #Yangyang Travel #Winter Travel

[Yangyang New Year #2] Unexpected Yangyang Day Trip๐Ÿ’™ I headed to Gangwon-do to see the sunrise without any specific plans. I was originally thinking of Gangneung, but Yangyang seemed quieter and had fewer people, so I quickly changed my destination. As expected, there were really fewer people compared to Gangneung and Sokcho, so I was able to look around comfortably. After seeing the New Year's sunrise in the car, I was so hungry that I was wondering where to go, so I headed toward Jumunjin. However, when I arrived at Jumunjin, all the restaurants in Gangneung were only takeout, but there were so many cars๐Ÿ˜… So I ended up turning the car around and heading to Yangyang. When I searched on the map app, there were many restaurants that sold a dish called 'Seopguk'! Seopguk is a famous local dish in Yangyang, so I decided to go to a restaurant that had many reviews and was well-known. ๐Ÿ˜‹ On the way back from Jumunjin to Yangyang, I passed by the article. On the way, I stopped the car because the red lighthouse that I saw in the distance was so beautiful. It was a small port town with few people and no people, so it was nice to quietly enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, the breakwater road was off-limits, so I couldn't see the lighthouse up close. When I took a picture, it was backlit, so it didn't show up well in the picture. However, the blue sea, the seagull flying alone, the sound of the waves crashing, everything was perfect๐Ÿ’™ Yangyang hasn't been famous as a tourist destination like Gangneung or Sokcho for very long, but it seems to have many hidden gems! After taking a quick breath of the sea breeze at the article section, I headed to a restaurant called 'Susanhangmulhoe', which specializes in jjaebokseop soup, located in Sonyang-myeon, Yangyang-gun. It was featured on TV and seems to be famous among the local residents! If there were a lot of people, I would have given up on eating and tried to find a place to take out, but fortunately, since it was early in the morning, there were almost no customers in the restaurant, so I was able to relax and enjoy my meal. Jjaebok is a dialect for silk oysters, and seop is a word for mussels. Seopguk is a refreshing and spicy local dish from Yangyang and Sokcho, made by boiling mussels with chives, mushrooms, and eggs and seasoning them with red pepper paste. The refreshing soup with clams and mussels was perfect for Korean tastes! I think it would be really delicious even if you added kalguksu noodles. They say it's a delicacy that surfers love. I thought it would be possible because I really crave warm and spicy soup dishes after getting out of the waterใ…Žใ…Ž Looking at the photos while uploading, I want to go eat seopguk again at dawn! It seemed like they prepared the side dishes and kimchi themselves. It felt like a home-cooked meal, and it was really delicious! You all know that a restaurant with delicious kimchi is a really good restaurant, right? ๐Ÿ˜† If you come to Yangyang, please try seopgukโฃ๏ธ +) All photos attached to this post were taken in compliance with social distancing guidelines and quarantine rules! #Yangyang travel #Winter travel #Vacation travel #Year-end travel #Safe travel #New year #New year #Couple #Yangyang #Gangwon-do #Gangwon-do travel #Day trip #Day trip #Restaurant #Restaurant tour #Walking in winter #Winter food #Seopguk #Jjaebog #Yangyang restaurant #Susanhang Mulhoe #Hajodae #Gisamunhang #Sea #Winter sea #Sunrise #Sky #Nature #Healing
