Must-see attractions at Naksansa Temple in Yangyang, Gangwon-do Naksansa Temple in Yangyang, Gangwon-do, Korea. Even if you're not religious, the scenery is stunning and worth a visit! It's incredibly healing! This is the largest temple I've ever visited. The mountain and the vast ocean stretch as far as the eye can see. At the highest point, there's a huge statue of Guanyin facing southeast. The main hall enshrines the Thousand-Hand Guanyin Bodhisattva, known for being very efficacious, making it well worth a visit. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt a comfortable and healing energy. I'd love to go back again! There are several rest areas offering complimentary coffee and tea. I happened to see a monk explaining things to some visitors and discovered that they offer templestay programs here. Spending a couple of days experiencing a templestay here would be amazing! I plan to try it sometime. The only downside is that it's a bit far from Seoul, making it slightly inconvenient to get to.
